The costume production graduate program at ‪@uncchapelhill‬ got a grant to replicate historical costumes appearing in the museum's collection of paintings and illustrations. This year, we copied this dress from the narrow bustle period, depicted in the painting "Rehearsing for the Concert" by French painter Jules Goupil. This project was led by Emma Weiss Holyst, MFA 2024.
