This is a Commodore Amiga. It was a VERY VERY popular computer back in mid-late 80's, early 90's. The high-end Amigas created CGI and television for a long time. I heard that a news station around my area still uses an Amiga for graphics.

He didn't use this original version of the track anyway, but a SID cover that's in HVSC.

Second off Janne didn’t steal anything from Grover Washington Jr. you can’t steal a chord progression, Timbaland used the song, a whole part of the song without crediting Janne. If you listen to the back of the song you can clearly hear it’s this song.

While I do think Timbaland lifted just about everything from this composition, I notice Janne Suni took many elements from Bill Wither's "Just The Two Of Us" especially the main melody and chord progressions. I also hear a little bit of Sly Stone's "If You Want Me To Stay" in here as well. Although Suni's alternate breakdowns add separation from "Just The Two Of Us", you can clearly hear where he got inspiration from. Point is, every musician has played off one another just as Janne Suni did with this track. It just sucks when multi-millionaire producers play-off of less mainstream artists like the case was with Timbaland and Suni received no compensation. But music is subjective and subjectivity doesn't fare well in court.

The controversy is more about how Timbaland lifted literally everything from the C64 remix of the song and $old the song with added percussion and Nelly's vocals *without* giving Janne Suni credit or royalties. At least Janne Suni never intended to sell his song.

This is a Commodore Amiga. It was a VERY VERY popular computer back in mid-late 80's, early 90's. The high-end Amigas created CGI and television for a long time. I heard that a news station around my area still uses an Amiga for graphics.

+Junior Casemiro High Voltage SID Collection, HVSC, that's how. That's a community maintained archive of all music ever created for Commodore 64 home computer, over 40 000 music files in total. The music can be played back via software emulation on PC or on an Elektron SidStation, a professional synthesizer unit utilizing the exotic soundchip from the old home computer. He didn't use this original version of the track anyway, but a SID cover that's in HVSC.

I could picture a local small market TV station operating independently of any of the major media groups using this chiptune music as a newstheme for their local network-affiliated newscasts...
I absolutely love this as much as a love nellies version. But this makes me feel a certain type of way… it reminds me of my whole childhood. Especially the first 10 seconds of this song gives me chills, so much nostalgia.
If I listen to this and close my eyes I see sunshine and I am very happy.

Demonwhisper first off I can’t hear just the two of us, but that’s beside the point. Second off Janne didn’t steal anything from Grover Washington Jr. you can’t steal a chord progression, Timbaland used the song, a whole part of the song without crediting Janne. If you listen to the back of the song you can clearly hear it’s this song.

nelly furtado's song "do it" brought me here....
While I do think Timbaland lifted just about everything from this composition, I notice Janne Suni took many elements from Bill Wither's "Just The Two Of Us" especially the main melody and chord progressions. I also hear a little bit of Sly Stone's "If You Want Me To Stay" in here as well. Although Suni's alternate breakdowns add separation from "Just The Two Of Us", you can clearly hear where he got inspiration from. Point is, every musician has played off one another just as Janne Suni did with this track. It just sucks when multi-millionaire producers play-off of less mainstream artists like the case was with Timbaland and Suni received no compensation. But music is subjective and subjectivity doesn't fare well in court.

there's a difference between being inspired by many things you love to create something completely new and straight up copy pasting a .wav file without having any clue why it's good and how you could achieve these kind of feelings in a song

St3reo75 While clearly it is a weird little bit-improving of just the 2 of us, Timbaland definitely did a horrible job sampling it, he basically just copy pasted it. Funny thing is, neither of these songs are that good and neither do Just The 2 of Us justice LOL

The controversy is more about how Timbaland lifted literally everything from the C64 remix of the song and $old the song with added percussion and Nelly's vocals *without* giving Janne Suni credit or royalties. At least Janne Suni never intended to sell his song.
