I'm a newly licensed ohysician and this helped me tremendously. THANK YOU!
The best video I ever watched on youtube. I need not open books again to read about acid-base balance. Thank you very much sir!
This is the best explanation what one could give to any acid base balance question :) . The best teacher for short tricks . Love from India 🇮🇳.
Hands-down, your most impressive video. This is an elite, creative tool
THIS IS LITERALLY SO AMAZING HOLY. you're an absolute genius
you are my savior thank you for all of these videos your videos are the ONLY ones that get me to remember things
Thanks for making this concept ridiculously easy that medical school professors try hard and fail to explain
Everything I need to know in such a simplified way! Thank you so so much!
It’s very short and sweet and to the point where you get most of the questions answered on a test but this is only the beginning of this huge topic. Good for starters.
I love this. I’m done with steps, yet I rewatch this again. Thanks man!
Love this. Can tell that your thoughts are systematic and organized. Thanks.
Thank you for this Dirty!!! I have no words. Sharing your videos with ALL my friends. Love from Singapore!!!
You are a Gem! Some Heros don't wear capes. Thank you!
What would you if you have HCO3 and pCO2 and you're asked to find the H+ concentration? What I did was use the Hasselbach equation to figure out the pH that way, and then I did 10^(-pH) to get the [H+]. I'm getting slightly confused though, if you have the H+ concentration then how would you make a diagnosis/deficit?
The way you simplified it is just.. AWESOME!
This was always such a hard concept for me in Med school! but this video has clarified it so much for me. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Where are you madam Devanga isee your contribution in Acid base balance obvious even me had help to know in detail
Hi, can you explain how the acid/base changes for aspirin overdose? I know in the early states its respiratory alkalosis and then late will be metabolic acidosis with anion gap, but how would you differentiate which one it will be in a question?
Simply amazing.. Never got a/b balance so easier. Thumbs up. Thanks
You're awesome! I finaly figured out AB regulation, and with this short and simple video. You rock! 👌😄
SUPERB EXPLANATION! I thought I have to sit with my slides, to understand, but this one was just on the go!!
Thanks! I knew if I searched long and hard enough, someone would know of a way to help this sink in and make it easy to quickly figure it out in my head.
VERY VERY impressive....banged out 5 problems effortlessly
wow, this is a really clear explanation. Amazing. I never really understood this before. Thank you so much for this
Thank you so much, man. I really never understood this one over the years. You really helped a lot of struggling students here!
Oh Man. You are such a brilliant guy. No words to thank you. You Mad my day Sir. Stay blessed.
Can you explain what happens to pO2 during these changes ?
Thank u so much. I never thought I could ever understand the acid base balance. U made my life so much easier.
what if the respiratory alkalosis and and ph alkalosis too and bicarb is alkalosis as well, what type of compensation is that?
Thank you for your medical lecture. I get a strategy of USMLE.
A 58 years old man was brought to the emergency with confusion and lethargy. His temperature is 36.7 C, blood pressure is 86/58 mmHg, pulse is 120/min, and respirations are 10/min. pH is 7.59, pCO2 49 mmHg and p0285mm Hg. Which of the following condition best describe his acid base status ? How to solve this when hco3 isn't given
Thank you so much! You don't know how much you have changed my life!
You deserve Noble price for all your contribution to medical education rather than those stupid med schools sucking all the money they can.
BRILLIANT. You, sir, are a genius.
What about complex acid base disorders? Like when you have metabolic acidosis and a respiratory alkalosis ate the came time?
Your explanation was very clear and easy to understand with good logic that'll make me remember it as well. Thanks a lot!! -Medico
No bullshit straight to the point and effective! Thank you!
Absolutely magnificent explanation I raise the hat up for you dude

I just LOVE you, dude! You're genius!
Dirty, my king, all of our king, you have helped me understand something I never did before!!!
What about when the pH is normal? But there are variable numbers in the bicarbonate and pCO2?
extremely helpful videos!!! thank you for your hard work!!
Awesome!! Finally I got it! Thank you very much!!! God bless you!!
Love your voice. And thank u for teaching this in a simple way.
This is better than that tic tac toe technique! Thanks!
Used this today in rounds on the spot when the Consultant handed me the rapid ABG strip and asked me to interpret it… got it right and impressed everyone Cheers Dirty Medicine ❤️
Can you help me out with mixed acid base disorders please?
I think this is very simplistic for what step 1 wants us to know.
Ammmaaaziinng! Excellent.
You’re genius!!! Thank you for your videos!
I think I love you. Thank you for this!!!

Absolutely genius. Thanks for sharing ❤
This is the single best explanation I've gotten on this topic, thank you!
I also think of ROME changes (Respiratory opposite, metabolic equal) and just use your pH to know if it is acidosis/alkalosis
best ever video on such a confusing concept, thanku
you don't know how much this video was helpful, thank u so much
Thanks I tried bnb and was confused ...you simplified a lot....the thing I couldn’t get in one n half hour u made it clear in 8 minutes

Love you man!! this is awesome!!! changed my life
Thank you so much! U are truly awesome!!
what if PH is down, pC02 down and HC03 up?
No wait. It cant be this easy I HAVE BEEN SHITTING ON ACID BASE QUESTIONS SINCE 3YEARS AND THISSSS :') May God bles you!
HOW AM I GOING TO GET BETTER
YOU ARE THE REAL HERO MAN!
A good trick: Is there an anion gap? It is good to look at this BEFORE ANY OTHER NUMBER to save time. Because, if there IS INDEED an anion gap, then you 100% have an anion gap metabolic acidosis
This changed how I look at everything thanks
thanks for giving skill .
is there any mnemonic for Winter's equation? always forget it..
Best ever video..thankyuu 👌👌
