You are right. Just from reading the story by nation and even this Karanja they are talking about is an alias. His real name is Elias Kiriithi and he was gunned down by cops in a robbery. Alafu the other one who fled was also a co-accused in the case of Sammy. So this Sammy can't be innocent yet all these friends were robbers.
