It was fun meeting Daniel and playing the game together! The game is fun too, so that adds to the experience. For me, it was a real honor to meet Daniel. He is a KZread wargame legend, the only person in history to have successfully played live a 25 mission successful tour of B-17: Queen of the Skies! Anyway, this was the first time we met, though he lives less than an hour away from me here in Southern Sweden -- note that Americans use time to measure distance, which is always interesting to Swedens (this avoids the unnatural confusion between meters and yards). We will undoubtedly get together again.

The dice tray came with my copy of D-Day Dice; we thought it fitting for a game that depicts D-Day!

Thanks! Glad you noticed! All of my games are designed to maximize player decision-making! In play-testing, I've seen two players with the exact same missions make completely different decisions and each choice brought entirely different consequences. The game is flexible enough to allow that -- the burden of command rests on your shoulders.

Kettenkrad. Would love one. I was, in my younger n healthier days, an offroad/dirt biker. When the one appeared in Saving Pvt Ryan, i was extremely happy n joyous.

When I was considering what German unit types to include in the game, I realized that the perfect example of a low VP target would be the Kettenkrad. They're amazingly cool. As to how important they are to the war effort? I think Daniel says it best in the upcoming ground attack video when he considers whether to roll in to attack with a flight of Thunderbolts after a small group of Kettenkrads are spotted as he flies over Cap de la Hague, the first Target Area of D-Day in Normandy. And yeah, who wouldn't want a Kettenkrad nowadays? Four-wheelers are popular, so why don't manufacturers offer modernized versions of the old Kettenkrad? I bet it would sell!

I'm glad you're "purposely" rolling so bad. You're just showing us all the gameplay aspects. 😂 I like it so far! Felt really bad for the midair collision! Naturally it had to happen to one of your more experienced flights! I'm excited for the next video! Let's get these ground targets!!!

There was nothing purposeful about those low rolls -- Daniel's hand at rolling dice was incredible! He kept rolling low, time after time! No need to help him out so as to demonstrate what can go wrong in the game....

There seem to be a lot pieces to the rules. I hope it's clear what to do and what the options & requirements are at each step. Looking very narrative-generating. Good luck with the bombing runs. 👍

I think the game is probably medium in complexity. There's lots of exceptions but said exceptions are always noted on the relevant tables, so as long as you remember to check the tables as you roll you should be good. As with all games after enough gaming those exceptions will become second nature. Definitely a narrative kind of game, sprinkled with strategic and tactical decisions.

Thanks to Daniel for pointing me to this comment! And thanks to you sir for asking! Yes, the chart has been corrected. There are more corrections to make, of course -- we're playing the current draft version of the game, which is nearing the final stage, after which it will go into an intensive proofreading phase. Thanks for pointing this out so I can correct it now.
