I detest those people who give hate threats on Allegra. I understand you would expect Anne Yatco given she looks like Raiden and her other VAs in different languages also voiced Raiden, but I think Beidou’s VA is an interesting choice here

People just really like consistency who is the voice acting crew ( if you look at the Japanese, Chinese and Korean casing) the reason why they had two voice actors is because Genshin and Star rail have two different voice acting Studios@@galacticwarrior9

@@changsiah2most likely the people that came from twitter / X and people that played both Star Rail and Genshin. Anne Yatco did approach and defend to the thread that Allegra posted in twitter about being harassed, then telling everyone to stop and just accept it. Anne even claims that Allegra would do a very good job as Acheron, which I would agree at. You are also right about Genshin and Star Rail having different studios. It’s even aligned that Hi3 does not have English dub and Acheron isn’t even based from Raiden Shogun but Raiden Mei in Hi3., they’re just different characters but variants like how they say about Bronie and Bronya. It’s even sad that most people are known to Genshin than to Hi3 because of popularity and most of the references came in Hi3 to HSR, not Genshin. If Hi3 ever gets a dub, supposedly they might use the same studio that HSR had

Why Acheron and Beidou have in common? - Same lightning element. - Hair covered the left eye. - Same English VA

It’s interesting to have Allegra Clark also voice Honkai: Star Rail’s Acheron, when she did voice Beidou before from Genshin Impact. I also despise the threats against the voice actors.
