Did you realize that you said "we fixed it"... That shows how much you value your viewers.... We value you too sir
Brilliant fix! Many people would have sent that to landfill. I stand in awe.
22:27 just watch the fever he has.. this excited moment of him i cant miss. He has passion to his job. "it is working, i cant believe" -- Sorin
This is simply beautiful - the moment when Sorin realises there is a whole bowl of satisfaction to be rubbed in. Great video! Made my day, thank you Sorin for this channel.
I had that pure bliss of delight yesterday on a Legion Lenovo gaming laptop. I was crossing every finger praying to the repair gods it would finally work after 2 hours of work on it ... and when it turned on I literally got up and started doing the tiger woods victory pump. lol. Great job Sorin.
Doctor Sorin operating on a Predator and we all know with the good Doctor the job is never done until it`s sealed with hot glue. Seriously if it was me, this board was gonna end up at a recyling centre. Good job.
Pure genius work! You need to be on the next level to fix such faults. Kudos
I also had this with a Lenovo, I used a dremel in a angle to get rid of the short. High speed low pressure. Looking nice
This was a thriller , way you digged in was like a detective digging through the evidence !

From now on Sorin will also be known as "The Board Digger" 😂😂😂. The video is awesome! Thank you Sorin posting all the videos. Indeed they teach people how to fix electronic devices, this channel fully deserves the name of "Repair School".

Lmao 😂👍
Sorin. I don't like repeating myself, but you never cease to amaze me.
Un ingénieur au service de la nation. Congratulations 👏👏👏
Another great video demonstrating Sorin's flawless level of skill ❤
Good job! Thermal camera saved lots of time and money on this one.
This kind off repair I like to see you do it. The way you are doing so happy you fix this I getting a smile on my face love to watch you doing something different and You get it done. Thank you Sorin.
YES! Even though my part was mainly cheering you on, we indeed did fix it.
This is, Sorin, one of your boldest and bravest repairs. You are the Micro Master! All owners of this laptop, remove that screw.
Great job! I'm still trying to figure out how the short happened. And how to know that the complexity of layers was inconsequential to a simple fix of scoring the surface track. Amazing.
Good job sir. Your repairs are next level.
Excellent repair and reaction well done Sorin
This is the best repair video of Sorin,
A very impressive job and a very informative video thanks Sorin!
When sorin gets excited, we get excited too 😂, good job mr dentist
Oh the joy of the repair! Do you remember Sorin? Probably has been a long time for you. Nice to see you enjoy a repair like I do on more occasions because of my inexperience. Happy for you! I think it’s been a long time coming for you
The first laptop my Daughter had, years ago, was a nice laptop find totally unmounted in the trash. Luckily, i found every pieces except the screws. It was too my first laptop to repair. But what it had? The charger connector had burned the layers around in the motherboard. So I had to do the same job, hoping that any layer would be important there, same color of green paste to repair cars, wires to sold to rebuild the power supply, using an other one taken on a non working laptop. And still now it works, as my daughter had others laptops becoming adult, I kept it as virtual synths for my music.
My compliments Friend, this repair is so difficoult🥹
Finally you've changed your soldering iron tip nice to see the solder flows smoothly through those large boards
Sir you are awesome and give good teaching lessons like this ❤ that's off
I have never seen a short under a motherboard layer... yeah we live and learn! That was a very nice repair
Just amazing job ... Thank you.
Great fix sorin, didn't think that would work again, kudos 😊👍
Sorin you amaze me every day. 👍
A very good fix indeed. Thank you.
i have never seen a genius like him...❤
We need shirts with "i can't believe!"
salute to you sir making costumer happy
Beautiful repair !!!
Think that is how the surgeon fixed my back. The metal left in there to hold it all together can be seen on the x-rays. Jip a lot of metal. Looking from the outside only big scars. Hot glue couldn't be used to make it as nice as your stitching.😁🙏
Awesome job, you have probably made the customer very happy and that can often be worth more than the monetary value of the job.
Awesome work!
This is just UNBELIEVABLE , WOW! 👏👏👏
amazing! that customer rly had luck ! GG Sorin!
Sorin was scared of the startup Sound. That was so cool to watch.
I've never seen a board burn up like that for no other reason than questionable design choices. There's supposed to be an IC or resistor or cap that burnt up, not layers of the board randomly deciding they want to be best friends no matter the cost. Very interesting job, a pleasure to watch you work and I couldn't be happier with the fix. Thanks, Sorin.
Nice work 🙏🙏🙏
Chapeu my friend. This is really good work.
Suppose with a grinding pen you have a chance to see other tracks and maybe rebuild
You are the king!. Love you man. You are the best
omg what a great way to fix this mess.. nice job acer!
Thanks sorin for sharing❤
He can’t believe, sorin your a master .. we can believe !!
I am completely speechless that this was fixable !
Good job mate 👍
great fix, you could get a fine drill for these kind of jobs, they would save you time and much better to find shorts inside layers
The joy and happiness of getting something fixed is money in the bank.
Thanks you with this video . ❤
Thats a brilliant video.. just wait for your reaction when fixing it
Now im going to buy a thermal canera just like what Mr Sorin is using❤❤🎉
Ffs, top shelf repair! Thermo camera is now paid for itself 😂 Great job Sorin
Wawww, nice one Sorin 😊
Good work
Sorin, please use a Dremel next time to grind the burned area , after that you can isolate with solder mask :D
Sir it is glad to tell you that you are making your disciple in Bangladesh.
It's working....!!! Awesome
Very nice.
A cave man carving a predator ! Beautiful 💥
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW BRAVOOOOOOO SORINEEEEEE👍👍👍💪💪💪💪💪💪
the zen master of electronics is in the house
Great work sorin 👏👏👏Customer should buy a lottery ticket 😂
Above and beyond for the customer ❤
Fantastic job like always, please buy a grinding pen
Sorin, you were like Frankenstein bringing his monster to life 😂😂😂😂
I don't understand why it took a solid minute to switch on? I get "memory training" and various things, but I wouldn't expect it to take as long as that laptop took? 21:25 power button pressed to 22:25 when the screen lit up. Like, how long should one wait ? I'd of been too impatient there! Nice fix Sorin - a true master at work!!!
Thanks to teach us that digging could make motherboard live again.
You are G R E A T. Good Job.
Another happy ending! 😄I swear if any of my laptops break, I'm sending them to this genius 😉
Sorin needs a good dremel engraver for that kind of jobs
The best reaction of all your video all emotion in 1 video sadness, scared, happiness ❤❤❤
Great job Sorin 👍 This is a design fault, maybe intentionally done. There are rules for PCB design... That power rail should not be there! There is a minimum distance allowance between ground and power rails. Even the designing software (like Eagle or Proteus) is throwing a big warning if you try to get a power rail closer than 1 mm from a grounded mounting hole!!! Big shame to manufacturer of the PCB (not of the laptop, they just put the project on auction and other companies actually make the PCB design) I have a friend here in Romania, he is working as a programmer for embedded SoC's, and his company is the 5th subcontractor of a big American company (still earning like 4K€ a month) And in one of his contracts for a smart thermometer SoC, he was asked to intentionally put a bug in software to render the device useless after a random number of uses greater than 1k... This was confidential but was a long time ago... so i hope i don't get anyone upset by this comment.
Wow man i love your enthusiasm when You are fixing , me too got scared once by predator like this one, lol
Wait for it...Wait for it... (goes for coffee) we have picture! Very nice fix!
nice to see you😊😊
fantastic
hello sorin ! great work as always, just wanted to say regarding the moment you tried to boot the laptop at 21:15, i think it probably was doing what we call memory training where the laptop/pc resets a few times to initialise the memory, group it in a pool and run a few tests on it before it is usable by the system and let it boot.

from my experience... this is more often the norm, than the exception! Agree 100%. I sometimes do something else while I wait for everything to initialize to avoid the temptation to power off and try something else

@@timecentral3134 As far as i've seen, it wouldn't harm the laptop, but you'd have to wait it over again.
perfect sir ji🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
you are the best. nice funny video!
Nice one
This was genius!

Hell yeah😂😂😂😂 so hard and terrifying job with this one
