ohh i'm new at this and i have the same laptop, i'm planning to buy a 500gb m.2 ssd but i want to keep my 1 TB hdd because all my data is there... What procedure is the one that he did in the last part when he switched from RST with Optane to AHC I? Did he select the new ssd drive as the default drive for the laptop so that it gets faster? And the hdd remains as extra storage? Do i have to reinstall Windows on the new ssd? :/

RST with Optane to AHCI = correct yes need install Windows to new SSD and switch first boot Device to SSD , HDD will be second storage

@@niklamigo hey I was told that if you have one stick of 8g then just get another stick of 8g and that will equal to 16g and it’s better to have dual channel so two sticks of 8g is better than 1 stick of 16g.

It should accept an nvme drive but might not be completely up to the max performance of the drive.

Boleh aja, ga jebol, tapi memang tidak optimal. Mending beli yang 2400 juga soalnya lebih murah. Duit nya rada sayang karena jadi kaya bayar sesuatu yang gapernah dipake, makanya pada kurang rekomen
