I love my laptop idc!!!!! BUDGET BUDGET and it was around $600 idk what this guy talking about but it runs fast and i play SIMS 4 & it is really good!! Had this computer almost 1 year now

@@lovytb no it can be laggy and have long loading screens plus this laptop broke on me due to updates from Microsoft i don’t recommend anymore.

same, recently dug it up from a box and repaired it(The fans didn't work because of dust), clean reinstalled it, and now it works like new again.

I'm still using mine after 9 years.
Also, the aspire e 15 has an SD card reader. Lol carefully to the bottom of the laptop. Next to the blue light, there is an SD card reader.
I have this laptop and no regrets, it's the best!!

@@trish4560 latest game can play in aspire e 575G 940mx - aspire e 576G-mx150. But in low settings or medium. Mx not build for gaming

This is the best laptop I've ever owned and I have had a macbook pro and have an imac at the moment, I have to run a lot of excel and the full size keyboard is the best. Premium laptops don't have a full size keyboard like the macbook or dell XPS or HP Envy and for business people like me that setup doesn't work. Tons of ports, I can hoop up to my tv, my printer and don;t need a dongle. had VGA and three USB type A and one USB type C ! best machine ever. Performance is lighting fast. I am really surprised how good this laptop is after three years of owning it.

I just need this to stream from console on twitch...So I’m torn between this and the Acer Aspire 7 🤔
I've had mine for several years. Bought when price reduced for Black Friday sale. I don't use the keyboard or monitor, as I use it like a desktop. I don't do gaming. For the most part, I'm pretty satisfied. However, I've been debating about a replacement as I want to start photo editing. Anyone have any experience, thoughts or comments?

My Acer aspire Es1 531 laptop is not switching on .The charging light and power on light are lighting up when I connect to the charger ,without that it's not showing an sign . What could be the problems with it ?
I have this laptop with the 940mx GPU. I upgraded it with an SSD (i highly recommend you do this) and 16gb ram to make it faster and smoother and it still working great as of 2020 (i bought it 2017). It's an okay laptop for casual (low-med settings) gaming (I was able to play GTA V, Resident Evil Remake 2 & 3, Skyrim, Mafia 2 etc.), Netflix, basic video editing, work etc. Battery life is not good so always keep it plugged in. Screen quality is average. But overall it's an okay budget laptop.

It still has an optical drive and a vga port. It seems like acer threw budget internals into an old design.
Can It be used for compositing? (after effects) or video editing?

I use it for editing videos and Photoshop all the time I used it in after effects to animate a still image and it works great. All the vids on my channel are edited with it, it's great🤓

It's pretty decent, nothing too crazy and it lights up too! You can disable it as well.

@@brickguy the lights turn on automatically when you type/press a key and they are located under the keys . You can press FN+F9 together to disable or enable this function
i have one for 5 years and it’s okay
the one thing I really don't like about this laptop is the audio level, I'm not sure if this is a personal mistake on my end but I swear I cannot get this laptop to run any audio above maybe half the level that my iPhone goes up to. I always have to use a device to hear videos etc clearly.

I'm thinking of getting this laptop once the corona stuff is over. I'll increase the ram and use it for general stuff and also a bit of gaming(mainly CSGO) as it has a MX150. Is it still worth buying in 2020?

Gaming is ehh... debatable on it. Some games like warframe and paladins runs decent after you lower the resolution to around 1366x768 or even 1280x768 (which still looks good). League of legends runs great as well. I can redownload csgo and let you know how the fps is but the last time I played it it was pretty good too.

@@subtletruth4794 CSGO doesn't require a supercomputer to run. Now I can't expect this to run Warzone on 60fps. Not for like continuos gaming but like you know every couple of hours CSGO matches.

@@stalingaming9486 So with my current setup I have about 12gb ram total and CSGO runs well. You may have to tweak the resolution and certain lower settings but you get a constant 30-60fps and rarely dropped below that depending on what's happening so about 40-50fps on average. I hope it helped :) Oh yea, I know you used it as an example but warzone doesn't run at all lol it said "GPU" isn't supported but funny enough GTA V gets around 24-30fps and Apex Legends is playable but it's not the best experience visually. For a budget laptop I'd say it's definitely worth it. May very well be what you're looking for

The thing I hate about it is I don’t really get the best FPS on some games like Minecraft Also when I try to record videos with it on OBS or Streamlabs it doesn’t work for me so I have to use some crappy, low FPS program which is super annoying

@@Asamrt-boro You can't add CPU or GPU in a laptop, it's Desktop PC only privilege. Most you can do usually just add more ram and replace the HDD with SSD.

There option on windows 10 & nvidia control panel You can set program to use Intel hd (power saver) Nvidia gpu (high perfomance) I use intel hd (power saver) on all program windows/apps. Turn on airplane mode when not connect internet. Save 4 hour On gaming i use nvidia gpu (high perfomance) Aspire E5 575G

2020? Aspire E family is old model. Acer support windows till version 1803. Drivers out to dated. Last update 2018. Aspire 3, 5, 7 good low budget game & perfomance . Same price as aspire e came out
