Nice work! Glad it was helpful. Which bit did you have to replace? Can't be that old machine.
Thank you for this video, I would never have found the screw hiding under the tape without it.
Danke für das Video! Herzliche Grüße aus dem Erzgebirge (Germany)
Thank you for this vid, can you send a link on where to buy the touchpad? Thanks :>
Can you recommend a replacement battery for this same model
Love this British accent more than US one😀. A question, my Acer Aspire 5749's trackpad """scrolling up n down"" does not work , but clicking and mouse does. . Is it a driver issue or hardware damaged? An OEM trackpad install would work in Win10? The machine came with Win7, now it is Win10. Thanks.
Hi thanks for this brilliant video. Do you know if this would be the same process for an A515?

Thanks! The A515 covers quite a wide range of machines, do you have the numbers after it?
Hi would this work for the acer a514-52. Thanks!
Can you tell where to order the touchpad?
My touchpad is just loose, do recommend opening it up and applying some tap to the back end of the trackpad.

If the system is nearly new may be worth seeing if they'll sort under warranty. Other wise I'd open it up and check the mounting screws are tight.
