The only question I still wonder is how in the world did that raccoon get all the way across to the other side? I mean I see you got out of its cage but there’s no way in hell it’s able to just somehow go all the way across unless it was picked up by a freaking eagle or something🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

No raccoons were killed in the making of this sequence . However due to the 50 takes that it took to film it 50 raccoons did suffer from blunt force trauma, memory loss, broken limbs, broken ribs, fractured spines, internal organ injuries, hearing loss, eye injuries, broken fingers, toes etc , post traumatic stress syndrome, & a broken tail. It must be noted to that Mr Carrey himself suffered injury in this scene. He picked up a steel splinter in his left index finger while traversing the steel cable. He was air lifted to Bethesda Naval Hospital where he was immediately attended to & nursed back to full health after a prolonged stay. Of which we are immensely grateful. Oh! As for the stunt raccoons , don’t worry they’re all in the Union so they are being taken care of

I think whoever wrote this really realised how well this would be remembered more than the cliffhanger death scene of the girl. If you replaced her with a raccoon. She’s just another Annoying interchangeable human. But that, that was a cute fluffy helpless raccoon

I don't know what scene is more ridiculous. This one, or Cliffhanger.

Hope Rocket Raccoon never seen this scene, and if he does he'll spend the rest of his life traumatized of that poor Raccoon and if Rocket Raccoon met Ace Ventura in person someday he'll beat the crap outta him

Thumbs up if you're old enough to have seen Cliffhanger in theaters before watching this movie. This reference is lost on younger people. 😋
