The reggae "fusion" is very subtle. Being from South Florida and the Islands, I never noticed that aspect. Ace of Base is a Swedish band. Far, far from the Bob Marley Caribbean.

This is one of those songs that takes me back to the 90's like a time machine.

Same. The funny thing is, I didn't even really enjoy this music in the 90s as I was born in 91, so I was just a kid. Still, because these songs were everywhere on the radio and such, my brain must have picked them up, and when I listen to them now, I get this odd feeling of remembering. I found many 90s songs on youtube that give me weird childhood flashbacks, in a good way :)

I was like 10, chilling with my friends at the river bank, in my village in Malaysia. My friend brought his radio to join us and played this album. I was hooked right away. I still fondly remember that moment. I'm 40+ now.

Every Morning ride to middle school the radio station would play this song and the sign to the point I only went to school so I’d be able to jam to this. My earliest memory of this song was hearing it at a party as a child on a blistering hot afternoon. I always link it to the memory of finding that the steering wheel of our car had melted slightly because of the heat as we were leaving said party. Amazing song.

Same here! Loved them since I was 9 in the early 90's, bought all the cassettes and albums and still listen to the band everyday - when something just sings to your spirit you will never let it go. ❤️ I'll stay a loyal fan for the rest of my life.

I was also a kid with a walkman, when my mom and I bought their first cassette back in 93, I was 5 now I'm 33 and my mom is 59. Great memories.

I remember this playing over the radio all through the summer of ‘93. I specifically remember one day travelling in a car with family to a beach house in North Wales and this song was playing on the radio. I must have been about 9 or 10 years old at the time. Memories.

шикарная группа уже после ухода АББА ровно практически через 10лет пришла группа танцевальная Ace of Base в каждом практически каждом пионерском лагере для детей в клубах танцплощадках крутили их песни под их песни танцевали.песни завораживали вели в танц народ.песни прям под них резко поднималось настроение.мировая группа которая тоже получила признание многих поклонников их творчества много было и есть фанатов этой группы и я не исключение.вырос на этой группе ее песнях.несмотря на их язык конечно не русский они родом тоже из Швеции как и гр.Абба.талантливая красивая четверка.так же в их группе люди похожие внешне как и гр.Абба.также в ней рыженькая солистка и блондинка напоминающая как Фриду так и Агнетту Фальцтког.одного клавешника эл.пианино.и гитариста.могу ошибаться честно .главное что их четверо.как и гр.Абба.только этот квартет танцевальный уже осовременный.как то так.кто сомной согласен.ставим лайки под моим комментом.посмотрим сколько Вас.разделяющих мое мнение.и согласные сомной.
