Oh my god. At 4:00 The thing that pixy says, linked up with the music is perfectly synced. It sends chills down my spine. It is the message of hate. It is anger and frustration, disassociation in a nutshell. I hereby deem this moment perfectly canonical.

wow this brought me way back, this game inspired me on my thesis in college to make a plane shooter and graduated, i practically owe this game a big one

i love the music so much! i dled the soundtrack, this is by far my favorite song in the game

Funny thing: Pixy, dubbed by Yuri Lowenthal, kills PJ, dubbed by Johhny John Bosch. In Persona 4/Persona 4 Golden/Persona 4 Animation Yosuke, dubbed by Yuri, it's the best buddy of Yu Narukami, dubbed by Johhny, and he calls him "Buddy/Partner". Awesome.

When you start the game, you never expect him to be the final opponent. Such an awesome game. Love every aspect of it. Still holds up to this generation of console games.

This is my favorite last mission in the Game. It's the only one that I've ever had trouble with. I can beat Megalith on Ace without difficulty. They made that one too easy. The Unsung War was just... uhh... the easiness of that one is disturbing. It takes less than one minute to destroy all of those 'Aces'. Pixy, on the other hand... this battle is the embodiment of the Dogfight. This is the mission where you only have to destroy one plane and yet still a lot of people can't do it. Awesome.

4:00 Impeccable timing with Pixy's scripted monologue and the lull in the sountrack. I declare that this playthrough is canonically how it happened.

ace combat zero and ace combat 5 and devil may cry 3 are my favorites games ON PS2

the graphics are awesome for a PS2 game. I like how they include that nice-sounding guitar in the music

This is one of the best final boss fights in any game ever made.

wow I remember this, it might be hard but its worth it very poetic that the final missile exchange emulated a knight joust. and the music, I fell in love with the music because of this duel

if you read the assult records it shows that he, like the osean fighters join the coup de'tat. and i belive that in a couple missions he talks with wizard 1 asking things like "are you ready?" and "is it time?" and then the wizard squadron joined the coup de'tat

If the whole series was released again with new planes and better graphics i would go through the exact same storyline another 100 times... This EPIC game was my childhood... i still remember sitting on the floor trying to fly through tunnels in missions and spend LITERALLY hours perfecting each level! AMAZING STORY, MUSIC, GAMEPLAY! PLEASE SONY GET ON IT!

Anyone knows how to unlock the ADFX-02 Falken? I just unlock Morgan and I'm not impressed, probably the Falken with thrust vectoring have better handling

one thing i noticed about Ace Zero is that in the final phase, i could have killed pixy with guns, flying the F15 i was on his tail for the longest time firing guns and the ECM was deflecting the bullets away, ECM shouldnt work on non-guided projectiles right? lol

i just find the part where pixy and you dodge to be the most epic. honestly, who can pull that off easily?

first stage: Laser get close enough at him like 300-800 then he almost can't evade it also try to be always behind him in the first stage second stage: exploding missles stay again close enough nd avoid that he is coming to you at six o'clock because if he fires the missle it will be hard to evade Third stage: front air intake let him follow you fly away straith like more then 5000 then turn or make a back flip nd shoot him reapeat this proces till he's death

Yeah, the F-22 is very respectable. I had save data on my memory card and already had the Wyvern unlocked. I used the Gripen until I had enough cash to purchase that.

BTW anyone who asked about Morgan and Falken: MORGAN AS AWARD: Complete the ZERO mission in free types of aces(mercenery,soldier,knight) then you can buy it. FALKEN:Complete the missions(ALL OF THEM)With all of the types of aces then you can buy it etc..

ADFX-01 and 02 are the experimental versions of the ADF-01, This is what the X in the name stands for and why it wasn't in AC5, cause it was no longer experimental.

Well, I think during that mission he was designated to MAKE SURE to keep the air clear with you. If you look closely, you never see PJ really actualy following you.

No, that's Gelb 2, Rainer Altman "The Fallen." The city outside the window is Directus, Ustio's capital and I'm guessing the Captain he's referring to is Gelb 1, Orbert Jager, who died when Galm Team liberated Directus. Also, he doesn't really sound like PJ, there's a small difference in the voices.

Looks like PJ didnt die after all. Didnt notice before but theres another plane in the end of mission. Since Cipher, PJ, and Solo Wing Pixy were the only ones near the V2, it would have to be PJ.

Second most awesome boss fight ever. The most awesome is tied between Rex Vs Ray or Snake Vs Liquid in Metal Gear Solid

well if you fly away he'll turn around eventually, and if you have long range missles, don't use them in the head on part, he can evade them easily

Gah, ive just been thinking: On very easy (which is what im on atm), missiles do 22% dmgto you. Are they more powerful on higher difficulties?

im late, but yes. one missile is literally one hit and ur gone on ace difficulty.

why did you use the F/A-22? Its easier to use the Su-37, because of high maneuver abilities.

great mission,i tried it like 57100943 times x3 until i got it =P the music and the plot and all is just real emotive and really cool

I use SU37, go into the tunnel, turn with your plane being vertical so you can turn corner quicker Just when you're near the closest lock joint, press FAEB twice then it's ok Same as env1233 said

it's ADFX-02 Morgan. it's ADF-01 Falken's protorype, but it's not the Falken itself. the two are developed by two different organizations and Falken has COFFIN, while Morgan doesn't

but to awnser your question (that i just noticed) im a expert at this game enough to where ive beaten 4,5,and 0 with the F-4 on Ace difficulty... dont ask, i have like over 50 hours each into each of these games. its like a hour every other day

What difficulty was this on?

I used the ADF-01 Falken For this mission and found it was WAY to fast to get a solid lock on to Pixy. Scraped that idea and have gone with the Sukhoi Su-37 since. Haven't looked back :3 I haven't tried it with the Raptor though.
