Gonna start working on one version of my video this weekend. Since my house is being renovated for the past year my TV was unavailable for me to use my HD PVR 2 . Used footage from other vids. But man your fan-made trailer is unbeatable! Very effective into brainwashing people who are not into this genre to play them!

AWESOME-NESS OVERLOAD OF AWESOME!

DFM in itself wasn't railroading. The problem was, as you said, that the game force you to perform DFM to beat certain missions. Had they just had DFM be another feature, like allied strike in AC6, than it would have been awesome. Honestly though it wasn't just the railroading, it was everything. The story, the characters, all of it. I felt like I was playing CoD in the sky, not Ace Combat.

I love this better than the official trailer!!!! I was actually planning on making an amv for "Gotta Stay Fly" myself and was looking for videos on youtube to see if there were any....I'm still not sure whether i'm going to use them but just in case I wanna ask, can i use some the scenes in your vid for the amv? I'll credit you in the description/video....

This game could have been so awesome. AC6 was awesome. They just needed to keep everything that made that game awesome, throw in the DFM and awesome damage effects, and remove all the railroading, and Assault Horizon would have been awesome.

The only good things to come out of Assault Horizon were custom paint skins and, like always, and amazing soundtrack.

DFM is the railroading. XD. I agree AH had the opportunity to be AWESOME. But they messed it up pretty bad. Story was bleh, fighting revolved around DFM. i
