this brings back memories, i remember playing this game on my 3DS as a kid, its what sparked my interest in aviation and fighter aircraft.

This is my most favorite Ace Combat game ever

🙂 I've started playing that game today. 🙂 The last time I've played it was back in July, 2020. 🙂 My Favourite (I was taught too spell that word in the UK) jet is the XFA-27, that I use in most of the missions. 🙂 Then I use the FALKEN jet in at the least one mission.

Hey buddy, what's your settings looking like? I'm at a scenario where looking at the sky is fine but mountains cause a massive preformance dip.

@@justit1074 honestly, Idk why, I liked ace combat assault horizon, I know I don't have the same perspective since it was the only one I've ever played, but I see it as "my" ace combat, and I love the different vehicles for different missions, only fighter jets is a Lil boring after a while

@@Leopard_211 Legacy is just a remaster of AC2. You have to try some of the other Ace Combats if Assault Horizon is your only one though, you're missing out big time friend. 7 is on ps/xbox and pc and the PS2 holy trinity games have thorough emulation guides. The reason the Ace Combat community hates Assault Horizon is because it came out at a time where everyone wanted to be like COD(Ace Combat's beloved Strangereal setting gutted in place of Generic US has to stop Russian Separatists with Nukes Plot #8492), and the series' aircraft control scheme was absolutely decapitated to make room for dogfight mode. You'll probably enjoy the mainline titles more for the soul of the fictional setting, and the aircraft controls blast AH's out of the sky, since you have full control of your plane at all times. Project Wingman is also a great option, that one was made by fans of Ace Combat for fans of Ace Combat and can stand toe to toe with it's roots.

@@justit1074This game was made after those, and is way less known amongst the franchise. Yes, those games have their merits, but AC:AHL has an underrated soundtrack.

would be nice if they put this on PS4. 2 and 5 are my favorites in the series. Never played 6 though.
