The way I heard it went was this: Capcom: Let's sell a spin-off of an already somewhat obscure game and not advertise it at all! Capcom: What the heck this game didn't sell. Well, I guess America doesn't want the sequel.

@Paizuri Easy solution. The localised version can be made for the new console. They did it for the localisations of, oh I dunno, THE ORIGINAL EFFING PW TRINITY, so doing it again isn't the most unreasonable ask...

So glad this was translated by fans. It was such a good game.

Courtney's theme is absolutely terrifying

Honestly my favorite AA game. The cases, characters, story, and music were great, but it had the best villain by far. The Phantom in DD is like a baby compared to the villain in this game.

I don't know. To me, Phantom is way more extreme. It's just that we know much about S****'s past than about Phantom's, don't we?

I'm not done with it yet, but Debeste, Courtney and Uncle Ray are already in my 15 favorite characters in the entire franchise, Courtney being my favorite rival out of all of them

Gregory's theme orchestrated is incredible! So is the pursuit theme!

My biggest disappointment is that neither First Class Reasoning/Farewell are in this. Those two would've sounded great orchestrated.

Gyakuten Kenji 2 has such an amazing soundtrack.

This game is much better than Dual Destinies in my opinion. I was blown away by the last case, what a crazy plot twist. We got our deadliest assassin, flirtuous troublemaker, and merciless whip lady back on the show. Justine Courtney and Raymond Shields are my newest favorite characters.

(And salvaging the mess that AJ created at least) AAI2 is unironically the best game of the entire series period, that can't be refuted.

The references to Great Revival in logic themes, Pursuit themes and Gregory's theme are truly a work of art.

I truly love this game with all of my heart. Case 4 & 5 were the best cases ever. And it was the last game that featured gumshoe. I want an aai 3, and another game w gumshoe even if he's like 50. I also really like edgeworth after this, and Ray is one of my favorite characters now.

I love those Professor Layton vibes! Edgey IS truly a gentleman after all ~

Bonds~ A Heart that Believes will always be my favorite :')

@@luisguilherme2964 If the leaks are accurate, then they should receive official translations sometime this year (www.reddit.com/r/AceAttorney/comments/jvixrj/capcom_leak_megathread_2_temporarily/). Scarlet Study has also done an unofficial translation of DGS 1. But I definitely recommend playing the two games together. They're two parts of a single cohesive story.

I played the first investigation and I was a lite boring and stretchy. But then I gived investigation 2 a try and omg was it amazing. Big improvement from the first one.

... I'm fortunate the game is translated entirely into Chinese too.

What a shame this game didn't come into the West, it's probably the best episode of this saga ! Thanks to english translation, I played it and it was awesome. Furthermore, the OST is wonderful.

As much as I would like to see one of my games localized, MattEngarding is correct. Dowolf has been consistently uploading the Ace Attorney 2 episodes and is currently on Case 4.

Yes, and the localization team has been consistently ensure that the localization is high quality and as professional seeming as possible. I personally don't mind waiting if it means I get to play the game rather than just watching someone else play it.

I recommend playing the fan-translated rom of the game. There's a fully localized version made by fans on the internet, and i mean FULLY localized. Every text in the game, from dialogue to sprites, are all localized. You won't be disappointed :)

Aemort Still waiting for the next game; and no, I'm not talking about the upcoming Dai Gyakuten spinoff, I'm mainly directing my excitement for AA6 (what I presume to be Dual Destinies' chronological sequel). Anyway, given that Dual Destinies was directed by Takeshi Yamazaki (the guy who directed the two Ace Attorney Investigations spinoff games), I wonder which obligatory mystery super spy we'll be facing in AA6. (Spoilers incoming, you've been warned).We've defeated Calisto Yew/Mata Hari and the Phantom (aka Chameleon from Spider Man), so who's next?
