I was blessed to see them a couple years back. In their 70’s, they are still amazing and rockin’ hard for 2 + hours!
sounded like the studio version mixed with footage from I believe River Plate. The shots with the cheerleaders were on a different set. Back in Black was released August 1980. About 6 months after Bon died.

Malcolm young passed in 2017. Not sure if they found someone else but, Angus's brother after all.
BTW I’ve been to 9 of theirs concerts in numerous cities throughout the last 50 years!!! My first one was in San Antonio TX in 1976 at the old Municipal Auditorium (3500 ppl capacity and a lot of weed smoking going on for a 15 year old) durning their High Voltage tour. First American tour ever. Bon Scott singing and being the charismatic frontman that he was (UFO was the opening band) in his short life. RIP This shit just never gets old. 🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍

I'm so jealous. I'm a native San Antonian and only two bands I never saw live (cause I was grounded by my old man at the time they did their tours, Van Halen 1984 and AC/DC's Flick of the switch.) I saw every other band that ever played the Hemisfair arena, Sunken Gardens--saw Legs Diamond and a few other bands there, and at the JayCees concerts during Fiesta in the 70s and 80s. One of Stevie Ray Vaughns lasts shows as a matter of fact I saw there.

@@caesarsbabymonkeys4428 Legs Diamond definitely brings back memories!!!!! Great band and a San Antonio staple in the mid and late 70’s!!!! Always a great show especially with UFO or Moxy!!!❤️❤️❤️

@@SWTSU Yeah, you’re definitely from San Antonio! OK, here’s some other San Antonio staple hard rock metal band names for ya. Let me know if you ever saw them here: Budgie? Saxon? Pat Travers? They all had a lot of playtime on the radio in the late 70s early 80s here in town and they all played here too. I was particularly lucky going through high school and we had some really good bands in town. I just looked at your username. Are you a Bobcat?
@SWTSU

I’m gonna hurt your feelings but Budgie is one of my favorite bands (Black Velvet Stallion) of all time and yes 3 times live in SA and Pat Travers in like 78 at a club off Fredericksburg Road. That was a hoot for a 17 year old with a fake license and some weed!!!! Remember “The Godfather Joe Anthony” of 99.5 KISS FM ruled the airways with what I’d call pirate radio!!!! Just saying. 😎🍸 Also I’m indeed a Bobcat. Class of 86. 🥳
Ac/dc not only did the “whole” soundtrack to iron man 2 but they also did “who made who” which was the soundtrack to the 1980s movie maximum overdrive with Emilio Estevas Which features songs with both Brian Johnson and bon scott
I’m 63 years old and I took my Three Sons to see them about Ten years ago. My Sons are 37, 39 and 41. They still tell me they’ll forget that night and neither will I !!.🎸🎶✌🏽🤙🏽👍🏽😎
I saw ACDC in concert back in 1978.
Gosh Darn It - you spoke over the greatest breakdown in ROCK!
Whole lotta rosie, from river plate bro . They are I'm my opinion the greatest of all time .No sad songs always rocking !!
Razors Edge tour 3rd row in front of the speakers. Couldn't hear for 2 weeks after.🤘🤪🤘
Yep Iron Man used video from the 2009 River Plate concerts for their movie!!!!! ACDC had to make $$$$Millions off this usage but it did indeed fit the movie PERFECTLY!!!!!! Not too shabby for a bunch of old dudes!!!!! AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so says their official web site so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson was 63, Angus Young was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! So says Austin Tx!!!! 🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎😎🍸
A fuck ton of money is what ACDC is worth, High Voltage, and Live wires, Powerage, and a flick of the switch,

AC/DC licensed a bunch Of their songs for the soundtrack to IRON MAN 2. This was a huge deal because the band had previously rejected any attempt to release a 'Best Of...' album.
Spellbound and nervous shakedown are also bangers from acdc. A must listen
Great reaction. My first AC⚡️DC concert was in 1986 if you ever get to see them live definitely go.❤️✌️🌼
Pure greatness bro
That concert is in a DVD "Live at River Plate".....in Buenos Aires, Argentina (2009)
🤘🎸🔥 I want to go see them.....again....☮️💜
I would love to come drink some sweet tea with you and watch Iron man 2! You cracked me up when you hurt your throat trying to sing those notes 🤣 I do the same thing! 😂. I love AC/DC and especially the Back n Black album. the band members are just like the mates you hang out with rocking out some killer tunes. Their music has a broader appeal to a wider audience than other hard rock bands. This certainly was their heyday. Shoot to Thrill for me means living life at bollistic speed, you pull the trigger of whatever it is you do to get your thrills. Shoot to thrill.
Incredible clip bro their my home town boys in Sydney legends
I went in Seattle, when Back in Black came out. It was crazy fun.
I saw them 2015 Toronto Canada. The best concert I have ever seen! I love them truly! They have seen me through many a dark times in my life. Picked up guitar years ago because them and still play! These boys are the best no doubt about it. RIP Malcolm! ❤️
The whole crowd becomes one huge pulsating mass in sync🤘❤️. My fave concert. Philly
It's not live. It's the BACK IN BLACK studio musical version cut with concert/Iron Man film footage. But don't get it twisted. AC/DC are such practiced masters they are damn near studio quality on stage.
It was in one of the Iron Man movies. Also they did 3 shows at River Plate and sold out all 3. The stadium held 200,000.. 3 shows total of 600,000 fans.
Check out the "Live At Donnington" version as well. Just awesome.....
Brian was recently asked about the future, he said he wasn’t allowed to talk about it, which tells me that something is in the works, hopefully a tour.
This song is in the fist Avengers when Tony meets Loki. Fire moment!
i saw them numerous times back in the 80's and one thing i can say... be ready for the freakin cannon shots. every time i'd prepare myself, get lost in the songs and concert in general, and BOOM BOOM BOOM. omg, talk about a heart attack!
They have still been touring--they probably have 1 or 2 more big tour years coming...so if you get a chance, you better jump at it OR it will be too late. They still ROCK hard--i'd seen them 3 times including when they toured one year with AXEL ROSE when Brian had hearing problems. BUT Brian is now back with them again.
First time seeing AC/DC was in Oakland at a Day on the Green “ in about 78 when I was in High School , Bon was on vocals of course. They were the second act up. The opening act was Van Halen then AC/DC , Pat Travers Band , Foreigner and Aerosmith. Saw them over the years , few years back my oldest son asked if I wanted to go to a AC/DC concert with him, I laughed and said sure Lol.

this song was indeed in iron man 2 and also the avengers. this is the studio version with clips from a live show and scenes from iron man 2
This song is about pill 💊 popping women . I've seen ACDC live so many times with Bon & Brian . I was also at 2 shows from River Plate & Live At Donington. Check them out live at Donington .
Everybody is waiting for ACDC to start the Power Up world tour planned for 2020 until COVID closed the world but Good Luck getting tickets as their concerts are sold out immediately Shot in the Dark released in 2020 is an example of their current ability to Rock n Roll - Worth reacting to
AC/DC is the best!! More more more. 🤟🏼🤟🏼
AC/DC will be performing for the first time this year, along with Iron Maiden, Guns 'N Roses, Judas Priest, Metallica, plus others, in California. It will be the first time they will be performing live since 2016. Tickets start (START!!!) at $700 per ticket.

Welcome to the party !...
Ride on, Whole Lotta Rosie, if you want ACDC. Bon Scott.
Let There Be Rock (Apollo Theatre, Glasgow, April 1978 if ya really wanna hear the power of ac dc,
In their 70s, still touring, and smashing it live. Most bands from this era are now washed up live. Not these dudes.
Man, nobody rocks harder than Argentinians and Brazilians. Bands go down there and the kids go NUTS like a liquid sea of people-movement. The Scandinavians have the hardest music in the world (check out Finnish metal) but it’s too damn cold to lose your mind up there lol. You can’t jam out to Apocalyptica in January or whatever, in a bikini top 😂
Seen them 7 times since 1978, only once with Bon
AC/DC was the soundtrack to the movie 'Iron Man 2'... the soundtrack album is a "best of AC/DC" release. Their last album was 'Power up' in 2020, which charted at #1 in the US, recorded to honor late guitarist Malcolm Young... they shot music videos, but did not tour for it. 'Back in black' was released in 1980, just months after the death of singer Bon Scott and dedicated to him w/ Brian Johnson on vocals... It has since sold 25 million copies in the US and is a top 5 selling record of all time... AC/DC's catalog has sold 200+ million copies worldwide. Angus Young has the most earnings, valued at $160 million... his brother Malcolm Young was worth $100 million before he passed away in 2017... Brian Johnson (vocals) & Cliff Williams (bass) have earned $100 million each... Longtime drummer Phil Rudd is at $70 million... The status of AC/DC is currently a bit murky... both Brian Johnson & Cliff Williams are in their 70's and Williams had hinted that he was retired... Despite recording an album in 2018 and releasing it in 2020 titled 'Power up' (Stevie Young, Angus Young's nephew, played guitar after he replaced Malcolm Young in 2013) w/ Angus, Brian, Cliff & Phil... the line-up is in doubt... Phil Rudd was arrested in 2014 and charged in a murder-for-hire plot in a drug-fueled debacle, served jail time and will likely not be able to tour for visa problems because of his convictions (Drummer Chris Slade did AC/DC's 2015 - '16 tour). Brian Johnson was affected by hearing loss and he had to be replaced on AC/DC's last tour in 2016... Guns N' Roses' singer W. Axl Rose did the last European & US tours in 2016. Cliff Williams announced in 2016 that he was retiring from the road, citing health issues... he hinted that he could play shows w/ AC/DC, but not likely a full tour. Recently, Brian Johnson released a memoir of his life - "The lives of Brian"... he talked about his upbringing, career in rock n' roll music w/ the band Geordie and his life in general... but apparently did not talk about AC/DC much. He cryptically remarked that AC/DC's story was not his to tell, despite being their singer since 1980... He would not talk about the status of AC/DC and remains loyal to the band, despite the numerous issues he has had w/ the band's management and his own status in AC/DC.
I've seen them so many times over the decades, lol. My serious rock concerts are in the rearview now...except going to see Deep Purple in Stuttgart this summer. I want to see them one last time before I kick the bucket, or my 2 favorite members do!
The movie Maximum Overdrive plays AC⚡DC all the movie.
First of all, I have to say that I am already glad when I watch an ACDC reaction, that the pensioner concert in River Plate is not taken as a template, which is only about the gigantic mass of spectators. But no, here you have to comment on the playback of a film, which also had not much to do with the original state of the band at that time. Please watch the slightly earlier ACDC, without gigantic stage effects! Thank you!
Googled it and it says they are in 2023. Had no US dates listed yet but it said check regularly.
"Whole Lotta Rosie" live at River Plate
hopefully, yes , they will tour again. but maybe not? just the fact that they brought us out of "covid" with a new album but could not tour, speaks volumes of their effort. as i see it they are all approaching their 70's (brian is already past that)at a high rate of speed and perhaps they will not tour again. me fingers are crossed, and i will most certainly attend their next tour. but that last album...... pwrup.... seemed like a farewell to me. hopefully i am wrong.
this is the studio version, synced with live footage
On tour in Europe at the moment mate
Brian Johnson is 76 years old in 2023
You should watch this from Donnington. Angus at his best
If you'd be interested in AC/DC's funky side, react to my favorite AC/DC song, "You Shook Me All Night Long."
They still tour but without Malcolm 😢
You need to watch the AC/DC Big gun video
After Malcom's death and Brian's hearing loss, they do not tour anymore.
They got lucky with Brian Johnson although he’s more of a screamer and has a huskier rasp. But they’re both Scottish so maybe that’s it, and they both sing perfectly to the Young brothers IMO. I prefer Bon just because he had a wider range of expressions and he was just so mischevious. Brian looks like a good guy who can belt it out like nobody’s business.

Bought the AC/DC album released with Ironman, listened to it once and binned it. Over mastered to the point of losing all the character of the band. Far better getting a live version of this.
