    I saw AC/DC on the Highway to Hell tour and Bon Scott one of the best unique voices in Rock! Sorely missed! I saw AC/DC on Back in Black in 1980 and For Those About to Rock We Salute You in 1981. Brian Johnson was the perfect fit for AC/DC after Bon passed. Brian was a unique voice just like Bon’s voice was unique. Love them both!

    I was 9 when Back in Black came out, so I did not ever get to see Bon live. Actually, other circumstances kept me from seeing the band live until this tour in 2009. I am glad I got to see them before Malcolm got too sick, RIP.

    The last song in this show and most every show since the mid 80's is "For Those About To Rock(We Salute You)". I saw them on this tour but different venue(Atlanta, Georgia). My ears were ringing for like 3 days afterward.

    Thank you for the reaction. I would like to tell you a story about this song. The band was at the virge of breaking up, because of the death of Bon Scott. Bon Scotts mother told them to continue and they found Brian Johnson. This song is a tribute to Bon Scotts funeral

    Saw them live during their "Rock or Bust" tour in 2016 in Montreal, Canada! One of the best concerts I have ever been to! Another AC/DC live song you should react to is "The Jack", Live at River Plate 2009, or Live at Donington 1991. With this song you get to see the blues-rock side of the band!

    Every single song from this concert is amazing… you can’t go wrong with any of them. The creative force at the heart of the band was Malcom Young (the one playing rhythm guitar, dark hair, tank top). He was the brains and driving force, and his brother angus was the heart, and the image of the band. Angus also writes riffs and of course comes up with his own solos. but Malcom (RIP) was the leader. Bon Scott and Brian Johnson contributed the lyrics mostly. Odds are very good that you will have a chance to see AC/DC in Europe relatively soon! Every indication is that they are gearing up for a world tour, most likely the last tour, to support their “Power Up” album that came out during COVID. They will play a rock festival in California in October as a warm up. I’m going to do whatever I can to see them… it’s Rock or Bust ;)

    I never get bored listening and watching AC/DC ... the band is great and this crowd was amazing! Bon Scott was a great artist who is still missed, and nobody can fill his shoes. Brian though is also a great singer with his own characteristic voice and I have decided long ago to not have a favourite :)

    You asked whonwrote this song - Angus, his brother Malcom and lead singer Brian Johnson. Most of the songs were written by Angus Young & Malcom Young. Malcom died November 18, 2017 at the age of 64. His nephew Stevie Young took over playing guitar in the band. Their is a great chance the band AC/DC will tour in 2024. Considering their age this may be the last time to see them. The ticket will be expensive - but what most people don't realize is that the band doesn't set the ticket prices its the venue they are playing at that controls this.

    Saw them during their Back in Black tour. I prefer Brian Johnson's voice just a bit more though I do like them both. Mostly because of his style of singing is more pleasing to my personal tastes.

  • @PaulKeil
    @PaulKeil11 ай бұрын

    Malcolm and Angus Young write the music and first Bon, then Brian wrote the lyrics. I love both singers but I have a slight preference for Bon personally. Not only his voice but his lyrics as well. I guess it's an age thing, if you were around when they started you will probably prefer Bon but if you came onto the scene a bit later you might prefer Brian. Bon was very tongue in cheek and a bit cheeky with his lyrics, whereas Brian can be edging more towards seedy. As I say, I love both but Bon has the edge. Brian does come from my home town though, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK.

    As a born again Christian, I can appreciate the musical sound of AC-DC that God gifted them with (one of my favorite bands), but I hate the satanic lyrical content. That’s what gives them a cringe factor. That’s what keeps them from being a band of integrity and drags them down to a baser level. I’m removing them from my status as a favorite band. A better alternative is a band called X-Sinner and their album ‘Peace Treaty.’ Now that’s a band with balls! God bless and Rock on!

    I think a lot of christians like "stairway to heaven". But I think the lyrics about how you can misinterpret the bible is so true. Because the bible is about the worst piece of literary work I've ever read. In fact, reading it cover to cover made me an atheist over 40 years ago.

  • @richardjones4662

    Oh, and it's why so many christians go to "bible study". Because they know the bible isn't very moral either... and want someone to tell them why it "really" is moral (when it isn't).
