My mother planted black beans for years. Then suddenly speckled and white beans appeared. So black babies can and do appear to white parents. Genetic traits are strong and I would be thankful for black babies who are normal.

These clinical errors happened to couples with fertility issues with clinics everyday, it actually happened to a friend couple of years ago, but is not all about babies but rather the love you have for them and yourselves as parent. What a great story, i love it ❤❤❤❤❤

Happened to a friend of mine as well. Turned out that the clinic director submitted his own sperm whenever he felt that the husband's was inferior. He had very pale white skin and red hair with blue eyes. These red haired, very pale skinned babies stood out drastically in many families!

I was born white in 1949. Imagine my surprise to find out after age 40, when I did my DNA. I discovered I had 1 to 2% African DNA! Yup, I grew up thinking I was all white but realized that my wonderful Grandpa was part Cherokee and his family owned a plantation in North Carolina. I was raised to NOT think I was better than others with dark skins.

These stories are overly detailed and too, too long. They become boring. It also shows the lack of knowledge about labeling vials regarding ethnicity, etc. so no such screw ups would occur.

I agree. There maybe Black relatives on both sides. Or they took the mother’s eggs and switched the sperm from a black donor father. So who got his sperm? Or bot were switched. Only DNA tests of both parents and the three boys to try to understand what had happened will resolve this. The new father’s demonstration of rage unmasked the rage-aholic which lived in a locked door in her husband’s head, now is the dominant personality! We are not guaranteed a perfect life. But people who dump their strife in a public place, you know that it is not safe to be alone with them. Nor would it be safe for the three boys. Sad story.

The story was good only it dragged too much with unnecessary details . This causes loss of interest.

My family is white. In 1920 my mom's aunt had a black baby, my mom's cousin Everyone just assumed there was the genes somewhere in their history for the darker skin and life went on as usual. My mom's uncle never questioned it saying " we just take the babies God gives us " and their children all grew into fine adults.

I have been listening to this story for 33+minutes, thinking about after the first baby was born why no one wondered where the sperm comes from when you have babies this way. Now they are talking about genetic counseling? Was there not even ONE medical person at the birth that knew the history of this couple? I think the problem is NOT ONE PERSON has the ability to realize exactly who the father is. The problem is not with genetics. It with whose sperm was placed in her womb. The longer this goes, the more unintelligent these people seem to be. They are ONLY going to find who the father was from the records of who the donor was used. It was not his

Should have located the parents of those babies and possibly given them back to them. After all, the black couple wanted children, no different than being a surrogate. Wrong ending.
