I can't say that the grill was loose on mine; dare say I'd have noticed. A light run of glue to repair? The horn set-up on them differ. Never noticed that. Nice comparison video. Cheers!
Great video jason
I'd be pleased to have either of those two beauties, but I'm reasonably happy with my Lima 37s - not too bad from two foot away. Got a Transrail logo'ed dutch engineer livery one at the Bristol show last weekend for buttons (27 quid) and they can be CD motored and DCC fitted for not a great deal, for folks on a limited budget. Anyway, good comparison, thx Jason :)
The thing that stands out to me is the Bachmann one has a separate nose end piece that creates another seam that is not there on the accurascale loco or the real thing . The horns on the on the split box locos are in the nose behind the two grills. I would say that the glazing on the accurascale 37 is very fine indeed
Thankyou excellent vid

Glad you enjoyed it
Grill is all sorted
One buffer is missing at your model ! My advice: take both ! Greetings from Germany!
For me it would be Vitrains as non Chinese manufactured.
All my locos are detailed because I only run a TMD layout, Tip try long nosed pliers work a treat with a spot of super glue less is more in the glue department. Must admit I prefer bachmann 37s
Why didnt you dust down the bachmann needs some tlc.

@@tonyrobinson362 dust doesn't make it any better or worse. My bachmann model is heavily used on the layout, I don't put it away in its box when I've finished playing with it, it's heavily used and spends 99% of it life on the layout.
giant box
Both Chinese engineering and manufacturing at there most inexpensive .
