NSL No1 has been part of my stud for nearly fifteen years. She has been used as a test bed for all sorts of gadgets and bits (some have become permanent fittings!) but a few weeks ago, I was showing her off to a friend and she couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding. After he had gone, I steamed her again, and after only half a circuit she stopped and just hissed steam at me. Now, after replacing the piston rings, she runs like new!
