Thank you for this wonderful comprehensive and easy to understand lecture. I have done financial accounting before but as a distance learning course and missed out the benefits of having a great professor explain key concepts. But having done the course on my own it was good to see your fantastic lecture. Thank you for making financial accounting easy to understand. I am sure it will be very helpful to many students. I often got stuck on the Shareholder's Equity. Regardless right now I am preparing to start managerial accounting and your lecture will go a long way in making it easy for me to get a good grade for this course. While financial accounting is different from managerial accounting in many ways they do overlap in many ways. One does rely on the other and are almost interdependent. Anyway sorry for the long post. Thank you for the wonderful lecture it shed new light on information I already knew but have a better understanding of now.

what was your method and how did you manage to do that? most companies I see to even get some kind of financing type job require a bachelor's degree and 3+ years experiencing in some type of financing job even at entry level. some tips would be greatly appreciated

@@FairyKit First, don't shy away from applying for a job even when it looks like a lost cause. Do not let the number of years of experience, education etc scare you away from your dream job. Send out your applications to as many places as possible. You definitely know maybe you're reaching for a fantasy but that does not mean the employers see it that way. Enrich yourself with knowledge related to the job- work anywhere that can give you experience, take "impossible'' projects and make sure to get them right. The whole point is to prove/expose your potential. If you're lucky to get through the application screening, ACE the interview. Admit you might not have the paperwork but show the impossible tasks you have managed to accomplish so far. Do not over-sell yourself and do not under-sell yourself. Make sure you can balance between your accomplishments and what you bring to the table. They already know you do not have the papers or maybe experience but bet you when you get an interview, it means either way you stood above the rest. Get close with people in related fields and ask for help or guidance and you can even ask for assignments from them to see how the real world works. It is not easy but you have to constantly be on your feet, get the basics, learn from everything and everyone. You do not have the comfort of supporting documents and papers. If you get a good employer they will definitely put you through or ask/recommend to you to enroll to different courses that can benefit you and them. Never stop learning, never stop trying and never stop. You are your only limit. Sorry for the lengthy reply.

@@rendezvousricochetcatsy thank you very much. I am looking for a job. I can type fast at 69wpm since I learned touch typing. I'm creative. I write, draw, and have dabbled a little bit in music (so I'm creative in a lot of areas.) I currently have a license to work in the mental health field, but I wanted to shift into a different career. I can do meticulous tasks and enjoy doing them. I'm careful/cautious and I am analytical. I can communicate. I was thinking about accounting and learning it because I do have a knack for numbers and I enjoy going through the systems and formulas, doing step by step and solving the problems. I also enjoy helping people. I think this is it.

LOL! I'm watching your video from Hungary because I want to refresh my business English and learn some specific words. I'm a qualified accountant who is looking for a new job. Thank you for sharing! I do really enjoy it.
Beautiful, the panning of the camera to the audience makes the class more immersive, and it as if I am a part of the class.
Thnx for sharing....we hardly get good quality for fee anymore. You're the best
currently taking intro to FA. This video is amazing! Love his personal experience with basketball and using it as an analogy. I finally understand more.
you are really a great teacher!

Great but can't find the link of book for assignment
This is great. My son just started taking accounting in high school, and I recognize the need for myself to learn some basic accounting and financial stuff for my job as a manager. Your series of teachings are very good. Thanks for posting these.
Thank you very much for those videos. I needed something more lively than the read-the-boring-book "distance learning" I got from my university.
I can't believe I wasted so much time watching dashcam videos, let's plays etc instead of videos such as this. Many thanks from Poland

What dashcam vidoe you watched can you share...?
Already graduated but I kind of forgot so thank you for refreshing me! 😊
Thanks a lot from Angola and Syria to the professor and JCCC
It is August 2019, I really appreciate you for uploading this videos, they really helped me understand basic concepts of accounting, which were not well explained to me during class. I wish I had a professor like you.
very thorough! Much appreciation for this online class. You are awesome!
So that's what my instructor was trying to explain.
Wow , im from Kyrgyzstan and i started watching your lectures, helps me alot THANK YOU
Yaassss thanks a lot! I'm in Principle Of Accounting and the class is making my head spin like really. Now that I have watched your lesson on Accounting its helping me build an understanding on, what Principle Of Accounting really is. Thank you really.
As an online student for a completely different college I appreciate your videos, these are helping me to grasp what I am learning online with a professor that is not as organized and detailed as you are. Thanks again. You should also do Intermediate Accounting Videos as well -- there is definitely a need.
I'm not sure if this was recorded to 'look retro' or what but... I'm hooked.
i am from pakistan... This is the best accounting teacher on planet earth...
Thank you for posting these videos!!!! Has helped me tremendously in my accounting course. You are an amazing teacher.
Nicely presented in a digestible, clear and approachable way. I owned several business but always had accountants available. I'm in an MBA program for the knowledge of it and browsing through various business refresher presentations. Your students are lucky. Students at JC appreciate this Prof. Many in accounting/finance are dry and hard to interpret what is important, relevant or related.
Hey man, stumbled across these lectures while taking online classes. Great info great presentation. Thank you!
Love this, going into accounting after high school, currently a senior, going in to college Summer of 2017. Decided to get a head start, thanks!

Good energy. Good production. I'm watching them all! Thanks so much.
I am about to start basic accounting. This is the infusion I need prior to starting, back of my head info. Well done. Thank you.
I recently started Principles of Accounting (Acc 110) at a community college in Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas, and this lecture was superb. A lot of the concepts now makes sense.
You're an amazing teacher! I am so glad I found you here. And @kevin Perez, you are right, the internet is a beauty!
Very cool full accounting course !👌
I am taking an online accounting class , your videos have been VERY helpful! Thanks so much!
Great professor !!I just started Accounting and I hope he will continue giving online lectures until the end of my degree ....
Aw I love your teaching just like financial report. This is what our professor explained to us about the same definations you give to us. The lady sound so great just like you.
I managed to get a great job without this knowledge and I have always dreamed of attending Campus and I find this very useful since most of the things I do at work I learnt by myself through online classes like these, and are related to the finance/administration department. It still works till now despite the years! Thank you very much.

Such an amazing teacher and the reason why I passed my accounting exam. Thank you from Canada
Really Helpful Sir..:D Loving accounting more and more.
This is very wonderful lecture because it is easily understood by any one who doesn't have accounting background. This kind of lecture can upgrade the knowledge of many people. Thank you very much for the free lectures that you provide the humble students without financial capability and need this kind of lectures

excellenct class! sat in universities, but your teaching method supersedes them all- because it isn't teaching, if the student doesn't understand it. 10 out of 10.
Thank you so much.. This is very informative and it is a big help for me to understand what Accounting is (all) about. I can use this for my job as an SAP ABAP Programmer.
great video. I have to learn this stuff and this is way more helpful than reading a book or watching a monotone professor speak.
Woah thank you so much sir! I learned a lot in an easier way. It was such a useful knowledge since I'll be taking BS Accountancy here in Philippines. I would love to hear and learn from you. It was an honor for me, you're an awesome teacher. I never get bored! Salamat! (Thank you!) Im looking forward until the end of lessons. ☺
