I bought an accordion and yours is the first lesson i can follow. I like that you write out the notes on screen and I can write them myself and track from paper and try to play with you. Breaking down the song is very helpful. Thank you for doing this.

The only Accordion tutorial on the internet that you can easy learn from it. By the way, I'm trying to fit these notes to my harmonica (garmoshka) and it pretty much works. Also, this is just my second song that I'm trying to play (first one - Bella Ciao) I'm not perfect with instrument, but I'm very happy that I found out your tutorials @Lucy. I hope one day you will add more tutorials 💝

Thank you Lucy for sharing this tutorial on this Russian folk song! I really enjoyed your playing of it and you are a great accordion teacher. I like how you explain everything in a easy and clear manner. It really helps that you break each part down into the right and left hands. The screen annotations with the notes and chord names as so very helpful. I enjoy and love all your tutorials! I have my accordion from when I was 11 years old ( am way paste the half a century mark in age,). It is in perfect condition. Last time i played it was 20 years ago. Just recently picked it up and did not do too badly. Just discovered your channel WoW! I am addicted. Thank you so much for doing this and helping me back to playing regularly. Thank you for all the content that you provide! (I have started my accordion journey with your bella ciao tutorial.) If you have time could you do a tutorial for "Kalinka" please. I am guessing it will be popular since katyusha was popular too. Also I think it might be a good idea to categorize your tutorials in a playlist and sort them by difficulty level (beginner, intermediate, advanced.) That way people can choose a song/tutorial that they can practice and see similar songs they can practice and progress skill wise. Again thank you for taking time and effort into these tutorials. They are by far the best accordion tutorials on youtube and we can tell!

Lucy just trying my first song with your instruction. Would it be possible to say before you starts the bass side in each section to say what chords are coming up in that section? That way I can write it down to easily repeat it. Also the right hand finger positions e.g. start this section 3 with thumb on C and pointer finger on E. BTW I addicted to getting my accordion skills back after 50 years!

Wish I could play the accordion (..having one would be helpful).. Kool song ❤️

You can install a accordion app onto your phone and practise before buying a real one! 🙂 That's how I began playing this instrument! And when I finally bought my very first accordion I could already play it fairly decently 😊👍 Now it's pretty much just a matter of practising my motor skills 😋

I can play both side "perfectly" alone, but not together at all, same with most song where the bass doesnt play at the same time as notes, you have any tips? Thanks

This might be a bit too advanced in that case. You might need to start by playing very simple basic tune with very little chord variation and simple melody. Just until you can learn to coordinate both hands easier. A teacher can also help! Good luck.
