Frankie vino a Monterrey con Mazz y toco las "polkitas del tigre" en Tv abierta para los 6 millones de habitantes a mediados de los anos 90. Gran acordeonista!!

These are all my favorite squeezebox players but damn, the guys backing them sound amazing! They were on point! Especially with Frankie's throw back from the past with MAZZ! Awesome!!!

Immortal Aztlan I’m not that nieve. I know he wasn’t the originator of those songs.But he put his own flavor to these songs and made it his own. And there’s nothing wrong with him playing it all these yrs. I still enjoy it.

Bueno, como empezar, es triste mirar tanto talento, debería ser viral, pero no lo es , no saven de talento musical,, Tejano music forever!!!

Loved it ! HOWEVER! Every time I see a showdown I get sad 😔 Same songs over and over again We need to write and compose new music and bring back Tejano and conjunto music. RAZA!!! We need to support these awesome musicians The more that make it the stronger we are.

Pure ignorance. That is how culture dies. This mentality is how culture dies, this mentality is what has ALWAYS hurt conjunto music and it will continue to. This music is about cultura and casting culture aside is how conjunto stayed at the bottom. And i love this music but this bullshit attitude has only helped to dilute it and hinder it's spread. Most of the ignorant don't know conjunto was always looked down upon because whites called it Mexican music since it's all in Spanish. Ignorance is plentiful in the conjunto community and it comes from ignorance like the comment I'm responding to.

If you don't use your left hand when playing the accordion, you don't know how to play the accordion.
