Great video, very interesting, pity no English subtitles, 65 ton crane is getting old as most of todays PR locomotives are around or over 100 tons in weight. Is the crane English or German? Lot of history in that tool van. Appreciate your efforts in bringing this video to your audience, thank you. Well done. 10/10.

Thanks a lot sir Crane is old and its British That's why it could lift only 65 tons, There would be at least 15 crew members traveled with this relief train, with a a medical officer and 2 paramedics, They will have to leave the loco shed in 30 minutes after getting notified, When a foreman been told about the incident he use to call to his all crew members by phone calls and also by sirens indications, Initially they have to depart a relief truck by road to the location in first 20 minutes, They would also have few necessary artifacts on the train and if they would have any leads about the required items then they managed to load all that required items on the train Thanks

MashAllah!❤ But recently I used railway, it was bit disappointing....the train was late and sanitary managements were also not good. I hope the railway management would work hard to increase the standard of our trains.

The explanation of the working of the ARV(accident relief van) or accident relief train is excellent with detailed nuances including the tools used, the purpose of the ARV in general and the boom cranes etc are extremely informative and feels great to hear that railways cares so much for its people and had the buses equipment’s for the job on hand. The staff compartment and it’s facilities are worth mentioning... The train official’s accent is great!!.. it’s actually a pucca Haryanvi accent and it makes for excellent hearing!!... excellent video, loved it.

Nowhere else, i could find such a detailed video on relief trains with a keeness seen only in a true rail fan. The question which arises is- 1-- how many such Trains are with PR right now? 2-- why no availability of ICU or operation in Medical room? 3-- if a locomotive to haul a train is not available at the moment..it will be a problem 5--can the crane move independently? 6-- if the track is single line, how will relief train reach the accident point?

Thanks a lot brother Rawalpindi Division have 2 relief trains, but total Railway ke pass kitni hai uska idea nhi abhi Medical van only have first aid facilities and then patients will be referred to nearby DHQ, I think lack of budgeting would not allow ICU etc, Initially they use to sent a relief truck to that location which would be equipped with all equipment essentials, And most of the divisional Headquarters would have enough locomotives at loco sheds so that's not a problem No, crane cant move by self rather it would be attached with the relief train That last question was also in my mind but end mai aa kr mujhy yad nhi raha pochna, it could be a major problem Thanks

تیس منٹ شیڈ چھوڑنے کا ٹائم پلس پہنچنے کا وقت بھی شامل کرلیں تو یہ بہت زیادہ ہے۔ریلیف ٹرین ہر طرح سے ریڈی رہنی چاہیے۔انجن اٹیچ رہنا چاہیے ۔زیادہ سے زیادہ پانچ منٹ میں شیڈ چھوڑنا چاہیے۔اگر تو صرف ٹریک ٹھیک کرنا ہو یا ڈی ریل ٹرین کو ٹریک پر لانا ہو تو اتنا وقت قابل قبول ہے لیکن اگر حادثہ ہو اور لوگ زخمی ہوں تویہ وقت بہت زیادہ ہے۔یہ میری ذاتی رائے ہے ہر کسی کو اختلاف کا حق ہے۔

Relief train is there for derailment or maintaining the tracks and the coaches after accidents, main purpose is clearance of the track and the wreckage after accidents but there is only first aid facilities for the injured, Thanks for watching and commenting
