Andrew~ My Garage door crapped out on me back around Halloween. I ordered a new Wood-flush paneled door. I have to install them when they come in. Unfortunately I received it around thanksgiving only to find out they sent the wrong door- still waiting on the new one!

I'm sorry my door is doing great I hope yours will come soon was it the opener? or the door? or was it the springs I had to get new ones back in April and earlier I had to WD40 my door because it was making the opener work harder due to the wheels not turning after that it runs like new you should wd40 your door once in a while thanks again Joe!!!

IAIS96 A mouse got caught in the pulley that spools the steal cables from the tension springs... his smashed body caused the cable to jump the pulley and jam. This caused the door to stop moving on that side. But the closer motor kept pushing the door closed with only the other side moving. The door was twisted diagonally, jamming the door, and destroying the tracks. I had to use a sledge hammer to break the door panels lose to get the tracks down. I removed everything and ordered a new door.

Just a suggestion - don't use WD-40 to lubricate your doors. It tends to attract dirt and will make the hinges and hardware dirty. You should use something formulated especially for garage doors.

@@TBHD724 i use WD-40 on my door and it works fine, grease tends to attract dirt.

These are Ideal doors. Ideal and Clopay are basically the same tho...

Ideal is copayment. They are kinda the cheaper doors you can by at menards instead of the the garage door company. The usual builders choice.
