thanks!! i used a moleskine sketchbook which has pretty thick paper, also i made sure to not use alcohol based markers because those usually bleed through

Hi, I was wondering about what sort of things you discussed for your video introduction. The calarts website doesn’t give you any guidelines on what they want to know about you. Since u got in I was wondering if you maybe have any tips. Beautiful sketchbook!!

G L The video introduction was the first part of my portfolio, so I used it as a quick way to introduce myself and to talk about things i didn’t get to mention in my Artist’s Statement. For me I felt it was important to talk about my artistic achievements and also spoke about my experience being the editor of my school’s yearbook. But there really isn’t anything specific you need to say!! The reviewers just like to put a face to the work and the video can just be saying your name, age and where you’re from. Hope this helped and good luck!!
