Thanks for the advanced part of this lesson. For our beginners I want to let you known that the tricks you are being taught here are very useful. The thing is that it is really hard to conjugate verbs when you are out in the field when you start. It still is for me. That is where little tricks one voy a + infinite are so useful. My advice to beginners is to learn these tricks well. As for the advanced part of the lesson, I already knew how to conjugate the present subjunctive so it was a good review listening to it being explained in Spanish. Also a great practice of the imperative. Maybe one of my fellow students can explain why negative tu commands trigger the subjunctive. Another great video

With a negative command, the person may or may not actually execute the command. Consequently, the subjunctive mood is required (because it might not happen).

Muchísimas gracias por este vídeo excelente. Acabo de verlo otra vez. Fue muy útil para repasar y también aprender algo nuevo.👍Usas una moda lógica para añadir más información a una oración. Gracias por la recomendación del canal de cocina.

Guys you have to understand that learning a language in a decent way takes at least 3 or 5 years ( Speaking, listening and writing ) . I'm a bilingual and I lived a few years in the States. A piece of advice when it comes to master a language is that you have to learn some slangs and idioms. ( In this case : Domican slang and Colombian) the English or Spanish you learn most of the time is formal so when you are facing a native speaker you get lost due to natives in any language tend to use them frequently ... Greetings from Colombia South America!

The Dominican republic isn’t exactly the best place to learn spanish as thats latin spanish not espanol spanish. If you go to Spain you would understand easier. If ur an English learner and went to Ireland ud have the same wake up call!

Adding the quizlet feature is a great addition to the courses. My only question is how to just test yourself against the vocabulary for an individual lesson. The quizlet Web site and app seems to want to test against the whole level as a set - rather than an individual lesson. It would be good to explain via a KZread video how to do this.

@John Hughes If you go to the AllProSpanish on Quizlet you'll find all the individual lessons. Each folder has a Level with 10 study sets in it. quizlet.com/allprospanish/folders

Thank you. For the Web site that works well and I can go now go directly to each lesson. However, can't see how I do this using the app. I seem to be only able to access the whole set for a level - rather than each lesson. No big issue - as I will just use the Web site instead.

One further addition that I believe that would be useful. To have a set that combines all the vocabulary in a given level. I notice for level 1 there is such a set containing all 89 items - but there isn't a combined set for the other levels. Then one could test yourself against the whole level vocabulary between moving Levels.

A 18:45 - esta es una buena explicacion de como se derivan las formas negativas de la interrogativa. (If one stays with the 'tu' forms, the interrogative mode is not too messy. The 'usted' forms drive me crazy however - too much to remember along with 'tu'). (Ademas de lo cual: Ay, ay, ay , ay, canta y no llores. (De una cancion de Mexico, Cielito Lindo)).

Oops, I should have said 'del imperativo' and 'the imperative' in my first line. Now, what was I thinking of? Ah, the joys of doing serious work on a new language when you are old! The best time to learn all this stuff is when you are a toddler. But back then I was too busy learning English.
