I'm glad you got the dvds in here. While I know that physics in Acceleracers can be greatly exaggerated for the sake of entertainment and narrative convenience, there's no way those dvd pov's are accurate to what the drivers would actually see. The scenes tend to be longer and have more weight to its physics unless they speed it up for the sake of brevity, cause it'd be pointless to dwell on scenes from a narrative perspective. We don't need to see Taro re-entering the Water Realm in a way that matches how we first saw the drivers enter because we already saw it. (You could also give Watsonian excuses for why the realms seem shorter when you drive through them again, using the Ultimate Race as an example.) Also 1:26 Shirako jumpscare.

I knew it was going to shift to those trivia things. Also, seeing this in first person just reminds you these drivers have the most insane reaction time ever.

It’s going to be straight impossible driving through the storm realm.. You have to substitute and compensate your racing line everytime yoh pass by a lightening rod. 5-10 you might get hit by lighthening passing by. “Staying focus on your driving” is a damn understatement. And when you hit those corkscrew intersecting loops where Kurt crash…imagine going through that passage…ITS EVERYMAN FOR HIMSELF. It’s a big sphere of lightening striking everywhere..

I bet driving in the realms for real would be really freaky. You’d have enough trying to focus on driving alone. On top of that you’d have to worry about the obstacles, the other racing teams, and a one hour time limit. It’s awesome to watch but I’d be scared driving through one of these realms myself.

I tried driving on some realms that you have some mods on assetto Corsa. Man, driving on water realm was really really hard, and I fuckin choked on the section after the last jump to the surface level (almost 24 min to get out of the underwater section)

They should do a VR game like this. It's honestly very satisfying.

I really wanted a game like this, so some years ago I tried to make my own beamng map as a racing realm since the custom track feature basically allows you to build a Hot Wheels track almost as you please. But when I finished the terrain design, and loaded in my biggest track I noticed the map was only about 1 tenth of the size, so I pretty much gave up after that and the devs updated the map editor yet again which I still don't know how to use it, maybe some day I'll try again...

No. I'm pretty sure it's the practice car that karma uses. Btw the theory of the chassis being used for the practice car is false bc during the lcoffsode tea we see wylde already working on Flathead fury, with the drone taking the practice car now looking over it it it just seems like that was the 1st one

BOY OKAY try being in the swamp realm and seeing the green Sasquatch mf stomp in front of u… And then you see the big ass swamp beast with them yellow eyes.. imagine it having pupils… Yea it’s going to be hard tryina focus on staying int the middle of the track.
