Here's a theory: Perhaps after the first Bassline fell, it landed back on the track and one of the other drivers in the cliffside realm was kind enough to tow out Bassline so Shirako could repair it.

@@artistanthony1007 *Wave ripper thing* The Teku just flat out yoinked it off of the deora 2, reverse engineered it, installed it on their cars, gave vert his jump jet's back. If I'm not mistaken, it being a wave ripper thing is likely why kurt's slingshot didn't have any installed, or if it did, why he never used em. as slingshot was a street breed, car before it was use by the teku.

Can we talk about how Shirako immediately thought of Monkey when he saw the drone legs? Wholesome as fuck

This is a common mis-conception tho. Shirako's bassline is right-hand drive because bassline is based on modern australian UTE's which only CAME in RIGHT hand drive. there is no left hand drive ute produced from the factory as far as i know. Only the older el-camino's and ranchero's, even then, bassline surely isn't based on any of them, unless you count the chevrolet SSR a ute.

@@Turbo.RF4 The SSR is definitely a Ute, since it's a unibody vehicle with no separation between the cabin and bed deck. My theory is that since the cars in the series are made to race, that Bassline was never a pickup, but was a coupe converted into a show truck, like how people made pickup trucks out of Tesla, BMW M3, etc. The only reason I believe this, is because of the very flat roofline, the very unconventional bed that seems to make a V shape at the end, and those fenders being that wide, but with no step like there would be with flares that wide on a standard vehicle.

@@checkitimawesome Probably still a UTE tho, if any, its definently a loose based SSR. Teku is known for highly modified vehicles, i doubt shirako would go for a expensive method of turning his vehicle into a literal stereo-system, he PROBABLY did have a car but then sold it and bought a sporty UTE like the HSV and SVT variants of the UTE's in australia.

@@Turbo.RF4 I still can't see Bassline being a production vehicle that was modified at a basic level, all the other cars in the series seem like they would be modified via cosmetics and some engine work. Bassline just seems like a ground up build, especially since Nolo specifically said "Until Shirako gets his car rebuilt" in Breaking Point

@@checkitimawesome isn't like the entiriety of the vehicles in acceleracers looks like vehicles that are built from the ground-up? lol but yea, bassline DEFINENTLY isn't a normal vehicle, its been modified to death, although i do believe shirako still used a UTE for bassline.

I love how the only time Shirako is pissed is when somebody tries to mess with his sound systems. He couldn’t care if he lost his whole car, but damaging his music is an entire crime.

I love how Shirako seems to be really chill with monkey. As far as I can tell, monkey is the only metal maniac / one of the few drivers that shirako goes out of his way to talk to. Probably because monkey is the Metal Maniac Mechanic, and Shirako has THE most tricked out teku car so he probably has an appreciation for monkey’s skills working on the maniac cars. Just a theory.

While everyone is busy dealing with a tragic backstories or fighting the drones, Shirako is just chilling

Shirako could've win the Cliffside Realm if the drones didn't sabotage his car

he actually couldnt. if you notice, the sweeper is driving towards them in that realm in the reverse direction. the drones were already ahead of the drivers.

He totally could have won, he was passing those drones like nothing, the sweeper fell off, and Kurt had to use Nitrox to even catch up to him

@@checkitimawesome you really need to rewatch the entire cliffside realm. the drones were already ahead by miles. the sweeper was at the END of the realm and was driving the track backwards to get the drivers. i highly doubt gelorum sent the sweeper into the realm first, and it was drone cars sent ahead of the sweeper that won the race, not the drones that we see with the drivers. because drones have always been consistent to be sent into realms in groups of 5 lead by a rd-l1. that only means that we have 3 drone cars completely unaccounted for that we dont see at all, which does include rd-l1 who would drive either rd-05 or rd-08.

I just realized now that Kurt was one of the best racing drivers in the world, wining championships and all, accordingly to world race, and in acceleracers he ends up being in a street racing gang.

I feel like because of his "I'm always high at any given moment" energy, people don't realize that Shirako is actually a pretty damn good driver. Like the way he took out the drones in the Cosmic Realm was executed so smoothly and flawlessly.

@@checkitimawesome In total, without the credits, the total runtime of all 4 AcceleRacers movies + micro episodes is approximately 264.5 Minutes (or 4.4 hours). If you add Highway 35, then you get a total of 374.5 Minutes of runtime (or 6.2 hours).

@Tito Dwi Laksono Acceleracers' design is more inspired. The Drones especially are super creative. They're like pseudo-transformers. World Race had safer, but overall, better looking and well proportioned designs.

Shirako straight up owning them jet jacks, of course it's the cosmic realm he feels home at, aside from cliffside.

This is just a throw back to hot wheel world race for me. The sunglasses even in dark relms just tells everyone whos got the biggest balls.

Fun fact: the Teku cars were influenced by the japanase import tuner cars from the era when this series was released

Timeless movies that haven't aged a day

I like that he was the star of the cliff side realm. It really showed that he’s a great driver beyond his incredible music and vibe. In fact, his vibes might be what makes him the best at drifting 😂

Literally ONLY when there is a pixel of Bassline in the screen, even if it's in that one scene but it gets covered by another vehicle or a realm's vegetation it cuts to when Bassline is visible again, haha

it makes more sense to believe that bassline is RHD because he is japanese and so is his late voice actor (rip). and also because the teku is a faction literally based around japanese tuner culture. saying its a misconception is false because it was never confirmed anywhere its specifically based on an austrailian ute. so let the japanese man with the japanese VA on the japanese themed racing team have a truck with RHD to fit his japanese aesthetic.

A late 2000s Holden Ute would probably be a good starting point, would have to find something that has room to swap a V10 into it though if you want to be as close as possible to his actual rig.
