This is awesome and something we all have been asking for since the update that split the PS4, PS5 Xbox One, Series XS player base up. Coming from the southern hemisphere where you'd be lucky to get 10 in a lobby and when there was no one would leave and you would do all races on one track. Looking at you Monza. More people can only be a good thing.

Even as PC Player I'm waiting for this. Hope it will get more easy to implement in future. Kunos is a small dev team. Glad they made it work for console.

This doesn’t affect the track medals you’d need? Unless you play on Xbox? But registering for the servers means you don’t need track medals!

@@A-dood last generation consoles lost support in 2022, however, cross gen play only got released this year, so you’re welcome to try, but I wouldn’t hold much hope at the moment. 😩

@@A-dood if he bought it with the hope of playing with you on PlayStation 4 then yes. 😩 but I’d say single player is quite good as the AI racers can be quite competitive.

Hi, we have a league server on gportal and anyone on xbox cant see the server. We've tried to remove the line from the json file but it doesn't allow it to be saved. Is there another option to get it working on gportal servers to allow ceossplay? With it enabled and set to 1 it's not working at the moment. Thank tou!

I believe G-Portal need to fix their servers first. Nitrado let you use cross play but don't let you FTP to the server, or access the log file. I'm not sure if you can access the results file though, which is why I went G-Portal. I would just run leagues as single console events still.

No, PC is separate and several versions ahead than consoles. Maybe one day they will align but I don't think that will happen.

Hi, the old gen console versions are no longer supported, so it won't work for cross play :(

Is this on Xbox? I heard that if you see the xbox logo, quit from the server and jump back in, until the xbox logo does not appear, and then it should be more stable. It's a shame that what could have been such a great update has, once again, been full of connection issues and bugs. Updates are meant to bring excitement and improvement, but each one seems to be plagued with bugs unfortunately.

No, unfortunately they made the decision to drop support for the PS4 version. So we won't get updates/features or bug fixes for old gen consoles.
