Don't miss Acadia Mountain, one of the TOP trails in Acadia National Park. The BEST thing about this trail is nowhere near as populated with tourists as the others. It's got an awesome scenic viewpoint, isn't too difficult, and when trails like Beehive or Precipice are closed during peak travel season, this one stays open!

From the National Park's Service website:
► The trailhead is located across a busy road from the parking area.
► The trailhead is on Maine Route 102, about 3 miles south of Somesville and just after Ikes Point Boat Launch.
► Parking and restrooms are on the opposite side of the road from the trailhead. Use caution when crossing or parking along the road.
