Yes. if this were an all original 8 port Allertor, it would have the 1st gen horn.

It needs the slip ring tightened up and a new paint job, I’m hoping to get up there with a lift soon and get them fixed. Obviously I’ll have a video of that 😇

Yes this is a new account same reason as before when the haters were hacking other users and deleting their accounts. Anyone I Messaged you on FB a couple times I'm Jason C. I'm pretty sure that if that is an 8 port single tone, it is most likely a early model B&N Mobil Directo.

Nope, the Allertor was once offered with a single toned chopper. The allertor and Mobil Directo have different design features, and only gas MDs had 8 port choppers.

there is an 8 port Mobil directo in Memphis TN and its not gas

how sirens be like p 50

Did you swap choppers or is it just like that cause I don’t remember that the allertor didnt have a 10/15 port chopper I thought it had a 9/12 port

What? No. The Allertor was at one point available with the 8 port single tone rotor. Not to mention that it is very easy to convert a single tone P-15 into an Allertor.

thunderbolt10031 oh I didn’t know I just looked up single toned Aca allertor it said that it is called the ACA Allertor 130 cause the 130 is single toned that reaches 130 dB

thunderbolt10031 also at one point in the early 70s and the late 60s the allertor was introduced and it was hard to fit that horn on it and they couldn’t get the horn right so the p10 15 or howler horn was already in progress cause they come out in 1971 and the allertor was just a part of the penetrator family and they had the same choppers so they put the horn from the p 10 and put it on the allertor until they were able to get the allertor toilet horn right hahaha 😂

No no. The Allertor predates the penetrator by a fair bit. Remember that the Mobil-Directo was the predecessor of the Allertor, then the Allertor replaced the MD, then the Penetrator replaced the Allertor due to it's vastly superior ease of manufacturing and performance. The old Allertor design was cool, but it simply wasn't efficient compared to the Penetrator.

thunderbolt10031 well the Aca penetrator series have the same types of choppers as the allertor and the Mobil directo was only in 8 port and 10/12 port the allertor had 8/12 10/12 9/12 and 8 port and ther penetrators had the 9/12 port and the 8 port choppers it’s rare for an allertor to have a 8 port single toned chopper and it’s rare for a p10 to have a 8 port chopper

This one is. Since it's single tone, it's an ACA Allertor 130. It is 130 dB from 100 feet away while the P-10 is 125 dB from 100 ft away whether it is dual tone or not.

@@the_real_drwhoroblox1935 that allertor was Ex Hoffman Estates. Was built as a single tone, one of the last to be made before the Allertor was replaced with the P-10/15. P-15 uses same internals.

Trains and Sirens it’s having some issues rotating at the moment. I know what’s wrong with it, just need to get a lift and tighten the slip ring. I plan on making a new video of it once that’s done. Especially since I have a way better camera and high end audio recording equipment now 😎
