Idk why but I just love sirens,fire alarms and thunder alert sirens (like the Thor guard or weather bug or even strike guard wave siren!)

I've always found these interesting but I've never seen one in person.

Braceface Bandit exactly that’s what it’s built for. They don’t use these for actual hurricanes unless needed.

They make me anxious as hell like I assume they're meant to, so it triggers your fight or flight so you know to get somewhere safe. But hell I still enjoy listening to them sometimes lol

As of 5/23/21 this siren has unfortunately been replaced with an ASC T-128. RIP DARIEN 1975-2021.

So it didn't even get to go off for the actual tornado a month later. That sucks. It deserved to warn a real tornado.

I like how there is a random person in the background laughing when the siren goes off. 🤣

Great video! This is such a rare siren. It is nice that there are still some in service. Yeah, the ambience at the end is great!

3 mouth ago the siren did it's finnaly test untill it was replaced with a t 128. siren had a growl sound 5 mouth ago. Amd the t 128 had a black color to resembles the old siren

What you should do is come down to florida to Pine crest school in Ft.Lauderdale and ask for them to test the lightning alarm

This is a tornado siren, Illinois doesn't get hurricanes.

Missouri doesn't have hurricanes. We get tornadoes, thunderstorms, snowstorms and in the summer, we get heat waves
