Stawberry Pop The best way how i could summarize this nightmarish experience. Many people were dying, all of them getting extremely sick days after eating out. This chef here is responsible for those deaths. Me and a group of my friends set out to stop this menace before anyone else dies...wasn't gonna be that simple. This chef had his protection of weapons and extra muscle. I plan to go after this chef alone, while my friends hold off most of his guards. Entering the room of the source, And there he was...sharpening a machete. The room was pretty dark, but only light enough for you to see the center. Can't see anything from the corners. :/ After Confrontation, I run straight at him, Threw a series of punches and a few wild swings here and there. He anticipated my movements and counter attacked. Last attack from him was from his blade, and now I've been wounded on my side. I'm down for the count at this point, but I'd keep fighting! Getting back up and two of his guards grabbed me, restraining me, forced me into a chair and tied me up. This chef looks at me with a twisted smirk on his face...He told me it was him responsible for why so many have been dying recently, and that i'd be next. I'm struggling to move, but that's not gonna work. He then took his machete and stabbed a baby in a crib multiple times, I'm forced to watch and i couldn't break free to stop him in time. He begins to start cooking, what you'd soon start to see as spaghetti...except he put abit of poisonous chemicals and a cup of gasoline in the water to boil the noodles, chunks of human flesh being used as a sub for ground beef. When the dish is done, I was forced fed to eat it. (I made sure i didn't swallow any bit of that nasty stuff) after that he got up and took a few steps away before some visible entity broke through the door and killed his guards instantly. I tried to take a good look at this mysterious figure and all i could see was just a dark shadowy being, no detail at all. Starting to blink and I've been cut loose from the chair, I spit out the "food" and watch as this being is about to battle against the chef. He threw knives and even tried to slash at the being, he missed every attack. So then this entity used telekinesis and lifted him into the air...Watching as he was bent and twisted into the most painful proportion I've ever seen, Loud snaps from his bones breaking. To end his life, all the knives and any other weapon were lifted into the air, and like bullets from all around he was impaled by every single weapon, then dropped to the floor as a dead corpse. This is alot just for a summary, i know. Very disturbing info to share.

Zoru's dialogue is mangled by google translate because it's written in a mix of hiragana and katakana. Google translate reads the two alphabets as separate, even though they're being combined here to spell each word. This is usually done to give the effect that someone is speaking in a strange manner- which is fitting! What he's actually saying is "I'll treat you... hee hee"

what's make this terrifying is that it comes from the purest and cutest game ever made. And that's how scary things works, when I play horror games like outlast or resident evil, I expect to be scared and see creppy stuff, so it's not impressive at all. But in nintendo games? creepy as hell. (I remember that freaking Blender in splatoon octo expansion and all the lore around it, that shit fucked me up, I kept thinking about it for weeks D:) I love these, I hope dream town will stay in AC switch :3

About the girl in the bridal dress in the basement, maybe she’s wearing that mask because the doctor skinned off her face and is now on one of the pillows and is wearing it to cover her face? Or maybe he did those weird experiments and tried to put a human and animal together on one body?

i think that could have been his daughter or a child at the hospital he cared for. he did everything he could for her as seen in the attic, but she passed away due to an incurable illness. Eventually the doctor was so distraught, he started doing crazy experiments in his basement lab on dead patients to try and resurrect her some way, *any* way. One day he made a breakthrough and was able to reanimate the body of the little girl.... but with the cost of her humanity for she was now a monster. I think shes responsible for the doctor's injuries, probably lashing out upon reanimation. But he didnt care, she was alive again! His research wasn't wasted! His daughter was *alive.* And because he still cares for her despite being an abomination now, he keeps her locked away in her own room with anything she could ever want. The only thing he needs for her is a new face.

FULL HITOKUI VILLAGE THEORY. You are a bride, and the mother of a young girl who went insane on the day of your wedding. As a ghost, you wandered around the now ruined town. House 1: This restaurant is owned by a man who kills and cooks other humans to feed to the other villagers. Anyone who finds out, gets killed and cooked as well. But, he doesn't eat them himself. He eats normally, note the food upstairs. House 2: The house belonged to a young girl and her family. She killed her family because a demon told her to. (Aka the pictures.) Except her mom, since she loved her the most. Then, she locked herself in the prison and threw the key out the bars. She wrote "help me" all over the walls because she was sorry for what she did and she wanted to be let go. Then, a church was built on the insides of the house, but leaving the other 2 rooms since they were important to the girl, or the structure of the house. The cemetery is for the dead family. Note the 4 graves, the girl, the mom, the dad, and the family dog. (Turn the camera to make the bed in front and you'll see a picture of a dog. House 3: This is a hospital. After people found the deranged child in House 2, they brought her here. They tried everything they could to fix her, like giving her toys, and food. But still, after all of this, she was never fixed. But, the doctors would do anything to help her, even torturing and mutilating other humans. Soon, the girl brutally murdered herself with the axe in the room. The mom came in shortly after demanding her daughter back. She too, went insane, even more so than her daughter. They locked her in the basement so nobody could ever find her. Shortly, she died from shock. She most likely saw the demon. Then, the demon who told the girl to kill her family, got a hold of the owner. He started mutilating humans and selling them to the restaurant for extra money. House 4: This final house was a temple, with a room thats another memorial of the family. Room with the eyeless girl: Interpretation of the mother Room with the cat-mask: Interpretation of the family pet Room with the boy: Interpretation of the father Room with the library: Interpretation of the mentally deranged child. The managers of Hitokui Village told everyone they died when an intruder came near, even when they knew the truth. Nobody knew the daughter killed everyone and the mother went insane. Soon, everyone (who didn't get experimented on, or eaten) went on to live normal lives. SO YA HOW IS IT

When i first visited Hitokui, in the cafe, the chef (Edo was his name? Idk) kept blocking the way out and i had to go in and out of the kitchen to reset his position. Freaky thing is, he kept blocking the way for like, 8 attempts. THAT was the creepiest part to me.

Not sure about some of the translations in this, but probably the doctor guy is saying something like "Let's give you medical treatment" (きみを治療してあげよう). The baboon confusion probably comes from the alternating hiragana katakana oddness. The girl by the bell asks "who are you burdened with?" or "who are you carrying?" and the back demon girl is just saying her back hurts which is fair enough (or something like that)

Oh! The cat mask is propably a kitsune mask!! It fits, you see. There’s this legend about fox people, they are shape-shifting mischievious beings. You propably have seen some kind of anime of them. Well, myth goes that these fox kitsunes turn in to beautiful women to seduce men and eat their liver. And when they’ve eaten 1000 livers they can become human again. But there’s a catch! They need to marry the guy first. So, I think you’re playing as the kitsune -bride outfit and all- and you started this village. That’s why you are in the cell, wearing a wolf mask, closest to a fox in animal crossing. The doctor or police man (probs doctor) got gist of your nature and hid you there Your last victim was the doctor hence his face. Now as you are playing, you are human again, going through the town that you destroyed

welp doesn't kitsunes had different roles on japanese mythology. There are two common classifications of kitsune: The zenko (善狐, literally 'good foxes') are benevolent, celestial foxes associated with Inari; they are sometimes simply called Inari foxes in English. On the other hand, the yako (野狐, literally 'field foxes', also called nogitsune) tend to be mischievous or even malicious

The upstairs of the Japanese-themed house was a wedding concept? The mannequin was wearing a bridal dress and hat. It's creepy because the bride's side has food and the dress is colorful. Meanwhile the groom is a creepy painting and his side is empty. It's like she's marrying a ghost.

it seems no one is actually familiar with the old Japanese shock site, so allow me to explain. the Japanese Red Room was a creepypasta from back in the old days of the internet, when Geocities reigned supreme. it was a story about a student that found a suspicious website, blank save for a popup and an audio file. only bits of the message would show up, revealing more and more of the message as he visited the site every day. eventually, it showed the full message and played the full audio file-- "Do you like the red room?", with a distorted voice reading the same message. the next morning, the student's mother saw that he wasn't in his room, but the walls, floor and ceiling were coated in blood. now, the fun thing about this creepypasta is you could only read it on one site, via a flash animation. when the animation ended, you actually got a popup just like the one in the story, complete with the audio file playing. it's sad. that was an integral part of my childhood and yet so few remember it.

I interpreted あなたがせおっているのはだれ to mean “who’s that on your back”, a callback to the demon that possessed the church girl perhaps? Maybe he has you now.......

The Unknown (Unknown) 5B00-00E6-E746 The Unknown is a (hacked) town based off of the Over The Garden Wall series. Its 99% finished and ive been working on it for a year now. Ive tried my best to make sure every house, character and residents resemble the Over The Garden Wall series. Each villager has a special outfit to fit the time set in the series and the outfits I have layed out can fit between those times as well. None, besides one of all houses arent fully expanded, and you don't need to go to the upstairs of any houses. The towns Tune and Flag have also been made from the actual soundtrack and screenshot from the show, and I've expanded my land to make room for as many forgotten stories as possible. Most public works projects have been put to go along with the town as well as tell the stories I couldnt make. Ive carefully designed each house by studying screenshots of the show to get down the interior correctly so its as much like the show as I can make it with a little twist of course. Ive tried substituting and putting in little hints to represent things I was unable to put in, and i think it would be a great town for you to visit during this time of year. Town Name~ Grotto Dream Address~ 6E00 0112 4593 Characters~ Pixie, Aspen, Luna Not Hacked~ This mystical forest located in what seems to be the middle of no where seems to have particularly supernatural happenings occuring within every acre. Annually, the residents have an event for the 'Cedar Moon', where you may find forest spirits dwelling in the old cottage. However, they prefer solitude, so you will likely only encounter one. Whilst in this town, be weary that eyes are always following you, footsteps ate always behind you, and the spirits can hear you.. Pixie, the chaotic mayor of this woodland seems to be antisocial, only really spotted speaking with her close friend dotty, or lugging second hand furniture across the town. She spends half her time stewing over a cauldron and studying her insects. As a dedicated witch, she is always brewing new remedies, doing new spells, and experimenting with aromatherapy: her favourite hobby. However, in the darkness of her haunted manor, you'll spot her socializing with the spirits which loom in her home. Aspen is a serene spirit who wanders the town every cedar moon, often lingering near the old abandoned cottage. She is very partial to her forest, and will cause you to be eternally lost within thick tree bark if you are caught disrespecting it. Luna is a mad investigator, exploring towns with unusual activities reported there. Just having moved to Grotto a few nights before tonight's moon, she has already set up her search for the spirits. Though, she is often over-endulged in her work, and will likely not give you time for a chat. ~This town was a lot of fun to make! I spent a lot of time grinding the resources and suffering with not being able to place everything where i would want, but im quite happy with my simple town. It is unfinished.. and likely never will be finished as i have grown tired and have much inspiration for a new town! My favourite rooms include the mayors left room and basememt, however none of the houses are fully expanded so I would recommend you visit each room. Im sorry if the paths arent carved enough, or are unclear. This is my first town to be put on the dream suite and i hope you like it! The room full of dolls in the backroom of the temple: Japanese people traditionally send their dolls and toys to be burned at shrines during festivals when they think that these objects are haunted. The room essentially implies that the whole town is haunted

The back room in the shrine/temple house looked kinda like a ghost bride ceremony? Her future husband died and she's essentially sacrificed so that he won't haunt the family and wander aimlessly, or something like that. She gonna drink some poison. I thought that was a Chinese ceremony but I could be wrong on that. Very spooky town!

Kid: Becomes Cannibal Parents: Blame Animal Crossing

My interpretation of the story is that the woman (owner of the Japanese house) gets married to some guy, and the guy is some mad scientist of some sort. After getting married, the husband being the messed up individual he is, kills her and tries to resurrect her with an experiment. The wife becomes a wolf and wants to eat humans. This explains the church, the funeral, the Japanese house, the doctors office, and the restaurant.

Funfact: Hitokui village really lives its name, when I heard the name I already feel like it's gonna be what it is. Hitokui, if you spell that in japanese, is 人食い which means (human/people) and (eat).... so.. eating human village.... And when you said they have a new village called Niku village, 肉 means meat. I never been to the new village but it sure gonna be full of meat :0

A war between animals and humans broke out a few years back. Angels home town got destroyed in the proses. Now that it’s 2020 and the war is finally over, mayor angel lives alone. Only left with her imagination and the over grown, abandoned town. Not wanting to accept the fact she lost friends and family she created imaginary animals and humans living together in peace. The town is set in mid autumn at around 4am. The map is hacked and has a small island east of the town. The best houses are angels left room, upstairs and main room and Storms main room. I think the artwork in the bathroom is a demon over a little girl, similar to the drawings in the left room of the wedding house. Just a guess :)

I know this is old, but, this is what I know from watching and playing so much Japanese horror. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. In the last house: -The first room, the floor is covered in what looks like talismans to trap and seal evil spirits inside that Samari armor and weapons. -The second room was a funeral, but, I really really think that picture was altered by the girl who is dead since I think her body should be under that picture in the wood thing. -The third room looked like it was full of more cursed objects and I think the candles that are to signal that a spirit is currently inside the object. I think it means the burning ones are alive. Yeah, it looks like an offering to the angry spirits to keep them from killing the person who owns the shrine. The broken pot looks like a rejected offering. The little people on the wall are also evil sealing talismans, apparently they are people shaped now instead of regular ones (they look like the Sachiko ever after charm *shiver*)? It should be writing to keep them inside the room on those and I don't think it's blood.... but, in this town of cannibal worship.... it would make a lot of sense, not gonna lie.... -Room 4, It looks like offerings, a Tanabata tree (for writing and hanging wishes during the star festival), and a bonfire with a girl in traditional clothes, all around what looks like a Japanese demon painting in a room built to keep evil inside. Looks like she's summoning a demon. Wait... didn't that little girl at the church get possed by a demon and the owner of this house is an older woman dressed to look like she is in mourning?.... well, I think that's her mom then.... great she sacrificed her daughter to it or it was a terrifying accident.... maybe.... Also, I don't think it's for anyone or anything that has ever been human, so.... -Upstairs that looks like a wedding? I'm pretty sure it's a wedding or match making thing of some kind. She looks like a bride to me. This whole house seems like a shrine, but, a really f***ed up one. So, why is the husband a painting? Sure he seemed dressed for a wedding, but, why isn't he a mannequin, too? Is he an evil spirit maybe? Is she marrying a demon or a dead person???? I don't know. -The basement looks like a place of record for their rituals. And yeah.... girl from room 2 seemed VERY mad.... Looks like the same girl to me.... maybe it's the woman's REAL daughter....

Sometimes when a person doesn't marry anyone in the japanese, chinese and korean culture than their families arrange a marriage with a death person who was also not married before dying. That way they bealive they can have a better after life. The same thing can happen if the bride or the groom dies before the ceremony. So the bride was maybe the sacrifised daughter who was supposed to marry the dead guy in the picture.

I was kind of scared to share it… but I think that now that the Switch game is coming, it may be time~ So I’d love it if you could visit! The Dream code is 6A00-010A-CD53, the town name is Fantasia. It’s a cute, fairytale, pastelish and very flowery town set in early April, 18:00. It’s story is that the inhabitants are granted magic powers through the blessing of the forest holy tree, and as the former fairy mayor died, the town now has a choice to make: either keep their status of fairies, or follow the mischievous Banshee and become witches. This is why Banshee and Pixi are teaching magic to the whole town, to try and get them on their side! The new mayor, Lacie, is still a student and hasn’t made her mind yet - Which one she ends up choosing might be up to your character! This town is pretty much complete, only the beach has not been decorated. I’ve never been a fan of room decoration either, and as such the houses are not very developed, but you can still visit all of them, at least the main rooms. The clothes are in front of the station! It is a hacked town if you want to put a disclaimer for this~ If you visit, I really hope you enjoy it! Don’t hesitate to give me some feedback even if you don’t make a video! It really spooked me when I played it 😂 was genuinely quite nervous

One thing I wanted to mention was the doctor's place. There was one empty face display and I thought that they were implying that that one was saved for you. Another thing I was hoping you would look at is the last house. In the room with the creepy painting and bookshelves the was a small square of space in the bookshelves. I don't know if there was anything but that would've been a perfect place to hide something because most people don't go into areal mode.

No, someone in comment section provided a clear picture of the source : japanese poster for an old horror movie named The Burning. I saw that it fit the image in the bathroom.

The mannequin at 28:58 I think represents a Geisha which is a woman who is highly trained in arts and music,dance and entertainment.They get paid to be the perfect hostess in a party of men.

i read a comment saying that it was a poster for a horror movie called The Burning

Last house; upstairs: Japanese wedding. Apparently though, the groom is a picture from a shrine. Marrying a dead guy?

Fun fact: In Japanese, the word for paper, "kami," is also the word used to refer to Shinto deities. People will write devotions and prayers on slips of paper and burn them, hang them at shrines, or toss them into bodies of water to communicate with kami. That's probably what the slips of paper in the fourth house are supposed to represent. The dolls in the back room might be "Jizō," which are statues that are believed to house the souls of miscarried or aborted fetuses. Jizō is a bodhisattva who is believed to protect children. The statues are dressed in red bibs and hoods and left offerings.

I hadn't been on tumblr for a while, so I didn't know that this town had been updated again! Thanks for letting the word out. That one floor now being covered in bloody crows instead of the chicken pillow... wow.

Obviously they stole the priest from the church and are serving him as a meatpie in the cafe. Have a little priest?

I think they mean "Bafoon (idiot)" rather baboon and the story I'm getting so far is that the woman at the church brought it upon everyone by unleashing the demon and that cracked pot was probably holding it. The demon started to effect the entire town driving them all to disarray and horrid behavior; the chef "stalking" the visitor, Doctor evilly laughing, etc. That woman asking why the chef was following probably was a visitor as well or did that ceremony unknowingly. It suggests a funeral was being held too, that's why the lady had a picture beside her in the upstairs (?) room; this all went down on a funeral probably during the celebration of beasts.

I would prefer to know exactly where the demon is at all times, so that way I can consistently keep far away from it.

one thing that rlly disturbed me was that in the basement of the 3rd house, the girl was trapped with a few baby bassinets. this might be a long shot but in my head they forced her to have babies so they could use their meat. idk tho

Hot take: this is scarier than aika village. Aika village’s story is more sad than scary

the upstairs of the fourth house is a wedding, but with the funeral photo of the man and the odon eggplant horse, means she's marrying a dead man

When I was a kid and did my first play through of this town (late at night) the cannibal basement scared me so much I couldn't eat any meat for the whole day even though I knew it was safe. Also I still don't like K.K. parade because it was playing in that basement. Which is weird since Hypno K.K. was one of my favorites for a long time even after my visit all the scary towns phase.

As I remember, the room with the bonfire in the middle (4th house) is a ritual for a Japanese spirit called Kitsune and the room upstairs is a wedding lunch (?) but the Woman/wife is alive, yet his husband no.

Ooh, spooky vibes; I like it! Haha. I figured you might’ve chosen a “scarier” one for this week, Mischa. Here’s my submission again: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Town Name: Komorebi Mayor Name: Rena Dream Address: 5C00-0096-B723 Completion: 100% Complete Theme: Small town mountain-living. (The outfit I chose for wandering the DA is near Erik’s house, so walk that way first.) Komorebi is a blend of Japanese, European, and American small town mountain-living. It’s set in the brisk autumn season at the edge of dusk time, invoking nostalgic feelings of childhood trips with your family. Most of the coloring features reds, yellows, whites, and smaller amounts of other shades, but has plenty of orange and blue flowers sprinkled around the rest of town. There are many cedars, saplings, fruit trees, and sweet-olive bushes to give the perfect blend of autumnal covering. Komorebi is a completely non-hacked town. (None of the QR codes [except for one I used on furniture in the mayor’s house/kitchen area] belong to me. I obtained them from various internet sources.) Rena is the mayor of the town and she helps to shelter her other friends. Her health is not the greatest, but thanks to her family’s abundant inheritance she is able to stay in the castle and watch over Komorebi. Rena tends to spend most of her time upstairs in her master bedroom either reading, writing, or playing the violin. Mitsu owns a multi-themed beverage shop (with mostly tea) and is inspired by a famous Japanese anime host club. She is cousins with Rena and very independent, preferring to live and work out of her basement as guests come through regularly. Although, Rena does find Mitsu rummaging through her kitchen almost everyday. Robin and Elowyn are not as fortunate as Mitsu, for they escaped their respective dwellings to open businesses in Komorebi. Elowyn was originally a Japanese doll spirit who ran away from her infamous witch employer’s bathhouse. She now owns her own bathhouse and employs those who choose to work for her. Her doll-form is kept locked up in her master bedroom/office upstairs. But, sometimes Elowyn stays in Rena’s basement when she wants to let loose and relax. Robin is a woodland fairy who escaped troubled lands where a certain green-dressed hero protects and fights. She runs a bed-and-breakfast cottage based on the seasons, but does not live there herself. Robin permanently resides in Rena’s first-story, backroom, where she keeps her fairy-form bottled up above her bed. Currently, Robin has been decorating Rena’s home with mushroom furniture because of her own homesickness for the woods. Each character is very in tune with nature and offers wisdom to those who wish to speak with them. Their love for various types of food can’t be easily overlooked as well. Overall, one experiences a sense of comfort and warmth amidst the welcoming presence between villagers and characters in the tranquil town of Komorebi. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Side note: All my characters’ houses are expanded with every room. You don’t have to explore all the rooms in Mitsu, Robin, or Elowyn’s houses, but I hope you can find time to go into every room in Rena’s home! I didn't see the older version, but you mentioned paper being strung up on the walls that was replaced with people-shaped papers. Well, the papers could've originally been.. I don't remember what they were called[wish tags?] but you write something you want to happen or this like on it then tie it to a designated post and/or a rope. Often it's done at shrines, I believe. The people shaped ones.. well, they could just be creep factor, but I'm getting reminded of the beginning of an anime[corpse party, I think?] where a group of kids had a person-shaped paper and each took a part and all pulled and got a piece. Just thought I'd mention this stuff.

Uh.... I just visited this town and when I saved after, my save file got corrupted and erased itself?? On one hand I feel it’s not really related, but on the other hand I read way too much creepypasta in middle school.

The kids room reminds me of the Japanese urban myth of Red Rooms.

I'm pretty sure that, in addition to meaning "My back hurts", what the girl is saying can also mean "What is that on/behind your back...?" Something like it. She's saying "senaka ga itai no...", and itai can sometimes be used to mean "[what] in the world", if I'm not mistaken haha. Kind of a spooky double entendre.
