Malcolm Young wasn't the Bass player. Malcolm played Rhythm guitar. He was the backbone, the nerve center of the band. Cliff was the Bass player.

I never knew how important Mal was until reading an interview with Angus after his passing. Angus gave his bro a big nod for being creative and focused. He had tons of material and skeletons of songs in his possession when Angus discovered them after Mal's death.

The only show I ever heard louder than AC/DC was BB King outdoors at the then Sleeptrain Amphitheater, but it was outdoors. AC/DC at the Oakland Arena during the Black Ice tour is responsible for permanent tinnitus in my left ear. I was totally deaf in that ear for 2 days after that show. Totally worth it.

They sound like this and move around like this in person. Not sure about now, they are fairly old. I saw them 1989 the first time. Everyone in the place knew every song. Best large concert I've ever been too before and after.

The music video was filmed at the Brixton Academy a famous London venue. All the scaffolding you see the crowd standing on was obviously erected for the shoot.

This concert was at River Platte Stadium in Argentina. This particular night doesn’t give you a true idea of the amount of people. Another night, Angus plays a Black guitar. That shows the craziness! 3 nights, sold out!

One more comment because I can’t help answering you questions. I’ve been to 9 of theirs concerts. My first one was in San Antonio TX in 1976 at the old The Municipal Auditorium (3000 ppl capacity and a lot of weed smoking for a 15 year old) durning their High Voltage tour. First American tour ever. Bonn Scott singing and Being the charismatic that he was in his short life. RIP This shit just never gets old hombre. 🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍😍😍🤩🤩🥳🥳

Lovin' the channel. Grew up on Classic Rock and Metal, and love the research/trivia, and the honest reactions. Thunderstruck is just one of those songs that you can't help but start nodding your head and smiling. Some other great songs you can't go wrong with are Boston's "More Than A Feeling", Scorpions "Rock You Like a Hurricane", Living Colour "Cult of Personality" and Rage Against the Machine "Bulls on Parade".

Great stuff! I can't get enough of this vid, Malcolm's part is SO right on...intricate and counter-rhythmic to Angus's...and uber consistent. I'm in awe of musicians like that ( I play tuba and am hypersensitive to rhythm and "lining up"). In this vein, a way cool group for you to check out is Tower of Power...start anywhere you want but "Squib Cakes" and "What is Hip" are phenomenal, and just for fun "Down to the Nightclub" for dessert. These guys line-up like no other.

ACDC is definitely best tasted live!!!! If you got the chops do the song “Let There Be Rock” from the River Plate concerts in 2009. Angus does damn near 18 minutes of kicking ass guitar work and a solo in the air. Granted it is a longer video than most to get by the censors but the time flys and it probably is the greatest performance of all time. You won’t be disappointed!!!! You might as well get exposed to them at their finest🤣🤣🤣🤣 Just saying!!!! So says Austin Tx. 😎🍸

Hi ReAlex - I'm really enjoying your reactions and discovery of this music. I recommend you have a listen to Deep Purple - 'Highway Star' and 'Child In Time' .. then 'Burn' and then 'Woman from Tokyo' and then 'Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming'. That will give you good travel through time.

Are you doing a first time reaction to this song or educating us on the history of it? I'm confused. Off the bat, it comes across like you know more about this song than anyone else, hahah.
