The whole album is a must listen definitely one of their most underrated albums

Great video! Nobody before them and no one in the future will EVER rock like AC/DC. RIP Malcolm. Best rhythm guitarist of all time. Many of his peers agree. They did have longer hair at the time, but they NEVER teased it out like an 8th grade girl and never wore spandex or makeup .

AC/DC started in the 70's and they did not change their image or sound after they became huge in 1980/ '81 after the success of the album 'Back in black'... (The late) Guitarist Malcolm Young of AC/DC once said, "We feel like we're timeless... trends come and go... but we just wanted to be a good, tough rock n' roll band." The critics accused AC/DC of never changing or evolving their music, and their response was always - If it ain't broke... don't fix it. Only 3 years after the massive success of 'Back in black'... AC/DC found their record sales drop sharply in 1983 w/ this album 'Flick of the switch' (It sold a half million copies in the US, while 'Back in black' sold 10+ million copies) ... AC/DC found themselves in the 80's 'hair metal' era where bands like Motley Crue, Dokken, Ratt, etc. were selling platinum-plus records w/ big hair, glam outfits and feminine makeup by 1984 and they did not want to go down those trends the way some 70's bands did, like Heart, Kiss, etc. AC/DC stayed true to themselves... However, in the mid-80's... AC/DC found themselves being targeted by religious Christian groups for "perpetuating satanism" who claimed that AC/DC was an acronym for "Anti-Christ Devil's Children" (The same nutjobs who accused Kiss of standing for "Knights in satan's service") ...What was worse came in 1985 when a serial killer in California left an AC/DC hat at a crime scene - the press immediately accused the band of inspiring this serial killer who was dubbed 'The night stalker'... claiming that AC/DC's 1979 song 'Night prowler' was an inspiration (without any evidence of a connection) ... The serial killer was eventually caught and identified as Richard Ramirez. As a result of bad press, AC/DC saw their 1985 album 'Fly on the wall' also sell substantially less at half million copies as well... It wasn't until MTV started playing their music videos by 1986/ '87 that AC/DC became commercially appealing again. Their 1988 album 'Blow up your video' sold platinum (1 million copies) in the US and their 1990 album "The razor's edge" became a multi-platinum hit thanks to the 'Thunderstruck' single.

Great reaction Duane👏🏻 I would say that AC/DC doesn't count as a hair band. The real hair bands had big, big hair, make up and spandex - think Motley Crue, Cinderella, early Bon Jovi - those sorts of bands.

acdc was not a hair band lol they were just around when there were hair bands like poison,bon jovi, morley crue....

ACDC is not a hair band bro they're just a hard rock blues Kick-Ass rock and roll band the biggest baddest hardest rock and roll band ever Angus is a fuking rock God

Even when some of the mid-80s albums weren't the best, you can't beat a Malcolm riff. No matter what they're always full of groove
