Swaps guitars mid-song, chips a tooth, plays behind his back, gives epic speech, plays monster solos....is there anything he didn't do in this performance? SRV ~ 🎸🐐

He wrote this song about his good friend Charlie that owned a guitar shop in Dallas who passed away. He did lose a false tooth and was looking for it on the floor. He even apologized to whoever had to come onstage and retrieve it for him. He was always so respectful to all. Yes his humanity was as huge as his musical talent. Thank you for this reaction🎸🎶‼️

Yeah, what exactly is the story with the tooth? I’ve watched many reactions to this, and the first 5 times I didn’t notice, and then I read in the comments “he lost a tooth” , and I was completely grossed out, lol, thinking he like extracted the damn thing, all on drugs, and like leveraged it out of his damn gum line, Then i showed the vid to my guitar genius friend (didn’t tell him about the tooth, cuz I didn’t want to,ruin the video for him), and ‘ but my friend noticed, and was like “damn, he chipped a tooth!”, and after that , I thought about it logically, and that made a LOT more logistical-type sense,,and so that’s been my story about it, ....and now u say a “capped tooth”, like how a gold tooth is, or something, and that makes total sense, I mean, he knew what he was doing, high or not, and it’s not he was chomping the strings, he just needed enuf pressure to keep the beat, and the hit the strings(?) , or whatever, idk, sorry for rambling, but ur “false tooth” scenario makes a hell of a lot,of sense

@@vincentvancraig yes I believe it was a cap or a "flipper" appliance that fell out. If you could stop the video at the precise time you can see a gap (hole) on the right side. He immediately spun around to look for it and kept looking while never missing a beat. You can see him mouthing the words "my tooth" to the tech that had to come out to pick it up and then you can see Stevie even saying "I'm sorry" to him. Some people try to insist he knocked out an actual tooth but that would involve blood certainly and he wouldn't want it back anyway. But the most amazing thing is he never missed a single beat in all of that. One of a kind for sure🎸🎶💯

@@harrietmiller3982 oh,,exactly,,yeah,,just amazing, just not even one fraction of a beat--but yeah, that makes total sense, the pain of a tooth would have been an insanely heavy situation, even tho he was quite numb in 1985--and oh yeah, he totally mouths that “I,lost my tooth “, ive seen this vid at least 30 times in the last 4 weeks, like 15 different reactions, and just watching the plain video at least 15 times.....I was turning my head away during the “teeth playing” part cuz I’m squeamish, lol.....but, thank u, good information there, I just wanted to get to the bottom of it, so wild!, and wildly great, goodness:) , and thank u🥰🙂

This is my favorite video on KZread. His strings, #13's, are so heavy it's no wonder he did some damage to his teeth. Stevie was so humble. They was playing at Red Rocks one night. When they arrived Stevie saw that B.B. King was on stage playing. When he asked why he was told that B.B. was the opening act. He went crazy. He said it was unacceptable for B.B. King to open for them. Amazing guy. Great reaction. My first time here. Not last. And one things guaranteed.

You're seeing Stevie sing in a beautiful whisper a lyric that is now on his own grave stone. It says Thank you for "all the love you've passed our way..." Because Charley meant so much to him I think this is one of his most beautiful heartfelt songs & my favorite. "Life Without You" - SRV Well hello baby, Tell me, How have you been? We all have missed you, And the way you grin The day is necessary, Every now and then For souls to move on, Given life back again Fly on, Fly on, Fly on my friend Go on, Go on and live again, Love again Cause day after day, Night after night Sittin' here singin', every, every minute As the years go passin' by, A long look in the mirror, We come face to face Wishin' our love we took for granted A love we had yesterday, Cause Life Without You 👉🏻❤All the love, you've passed our way Angels have waited, for so long Now they have their way Take your place....
