I'll never forget an interview with Brian telling the story of talking to Bon's mother after he got the job. She told him don't try to fill his shoes, bring your own pair. Or something like that. Thats one of the best pieces of advice I've heard to this day.

AC/DC is a very down to earth even though Phil Rudd had his issues.

With out a doubt the Greatest Hard ROCK BAND EVER

December 1981, Toronto, Canada. Right after a AC/ DC concert. Me and two of my friends Ian, and Glen follow Brian Johnson's limo to Harbor Castle Hotel. Glen uses Hotel house phone to call front desk pretending to have food order for Brian. Surprisingly, we get the room number. We approach the door knock and a reporter from Sounds Magazine answers. We boldly ask for Brian. We can see Brian in background as he says in a thick English accent " Let the lads in ". I'm sitting face to face with Brian Johnson the gravel voiced lead singer of the legendary AC/ DC. I'm casually talking to him about the making of " BACK IN BLACK " Hung out for about an hour and he graciously offers US backstage passes to Rochester, show .What an amazing experience, for three 17yrs kids

Brian was such a good sport

He was actually the third singer. First guy was fired. Bon Scott obviously died. So that makes Brian Johnson the third.

I met bon Scott in addition.

I met Brian backstage in 1986. Helluva cool guy. Gave me a Grolsch beer. Kept the ceramic cap as keepsake. Man that was a good night.

When acdc came through Canada I knew I was going and got the whole package getting to meet them all These guys have definitely not let fame ruin them they are all just wonderful and kind guys who will always be on everyone's playlist while throwing a party

He’s truly a great guy. A very very good race car driver. Put in an amazing drive in the 24 Daytona 24 hrs. Have had the privilege of racing with and against him in vintage races in the USA and Europe. He’s one of the pleasures of my life!

There's a segment on YT w Brian interviewing Mark Knopfler. Two lads from Newcastle reminiscing their careers...a great watch and portrays Brian as a real down to earth, all around nice guy.

Brian hangs out with his wife and close friends stays close to his home on LBK and is a very approachable and kind fellow!! We love him

I heard in 2016 when the whole hearing problem was happening, that Angus and Malcolm never gave Brian (or any other members) an ownership in the band. That Brian is basically an employee. I wouldn't doubt it. Maybe check into Angus' net worth, I'd bet it dwarfs Brian's, or Justin Beaver's.

I got to party with them on their tour bus before a show in dayton, ohio. Chugged a couple heinekens with Brian, he is so cool down to earth.

I was in the top gear crowed when he was on the show and he was the nicest and coolest guy ever

Yes l saw that episode. Brian had had his own car series on TV and nothing was mentioned in that Top Gear show. Perhaps it was because it was on a different channel. Of course Brian gave an impressive performance in the speed challenge but he was only named as the singer of AC DC.

One my few heroes left alive. Seems like an amazingly normal guy, who's accomplished very abnormal things in his life. I've seen the band a number of times and I never had the opportunity to meet, Brian. I wish him the best and I hope they're all good. The originals I mean.

I've met him a few times...he is the most humble down to earth rock star ever...And truly hilarious. All of ACDC are really nice to their fans. He was even wearing his trademark cap one time I met him. He is a genuine guy for sure
