AC/DC - Back In Black, but it's super emo
Музыка
I re-imagined ACDC's Back in Black in the style of 2004-2007 emo bands! You know the ones, they had two singers, and neither of them could really sing, but you could tell they meant every word they sang? That, but AC/DC. Hope you enjoy it!

"Real Emo" only consists of the dc Emotional Hardcore scene and the late 90's Screamo scene. What is known by "Midwest Emo" is nothing but Alternative Rock with questionable real emo influence. When people try to argue that bands like My Chemical Romance are not real emo, while saying that Sunny Day Real Estate is, I can't help not to cringe because they are just as fake emo as My Chemical Romance (plus the pretentiousness). Real emo sounds ENERGETIC, POWERFUL and somewhat HATEFUL. Fake emo is weak, self pity and a failed attempt to direct energy and emotion into music. Some examples of REAL EMO are Pg 99, Rites of Spring, Cap n Jazz (the only real emo band from the midwest scene) and Loma Prieta. Some examples of FAKE EMO are American Football, My Chemical Romance and Mineral EMO BELONGS TO HARDCORE NOT TO INDIE, POP PUNK, ALT ROCK OR ANY OTHER MAINSTREAM GENRE

Stop HATING!!!
This is fucking gorgeous dude!!! Gonna be playing this multiple times a day for a while! If you ever release an album of covers like this or original stuff I'm buying everything you make! Just curious- which bands were your reference/inspiration for this (especially hey hey part)

Hey, thank you so so so much! I have music up all over the place under my name, as well as my band Theatria :) not a lot in the way of physical CDs, but toddsfaceonashirt.com has shirts with my face on them lmao The overall song structure was VERY derivative of the band Sydney. Like it might as well have been a Sydney cover lmao. Saosin, Taking Back Sunday, and The Used all have certain tendencies I borrowed too (the guitar is very Saosin-based, the layered bridge vocals are a TBS vibe, the ending is inspired by The Used) The hey hey hey, on the other hand… that was AC/DC! The original back in black does those, so I just like… did that, but within the context of an emo song :)
I can't believe how good these all are
Such a underoath vibes at the end. Really nice

Dude!! I was literally the 1st vote for this(doubters go look at the poll) and thought there was no way it was gonna happen. Not only did you make it happen but holy shit I want this on my Spotify Playlist man! Literally one of the best covers of all time if not the best. Good job my friend :edit, happy Thanksgiving man, I am thankful for this masterpiece

Man, thanks Geoff! I’ll get this submitted to Spotify today, hopefully it’ll be up in a week or so :) If you liked this, it’s worth checking out the band Sydney as well! They were around in Ontario in the ‘00s and I took hefty inspiration from them to make this haha

@Todd Barriage he did but it was halftime drums... anyways my other request of motionless in white 570 but super emo makes sense because it's a story of how the band became the band they are today which I interpret as an emotional song(emo) check out the lyrics, it might be one to crush as they gain popularity

I have no words. It’s UnderOath more than new UnderOath. Incredible.
I non-ironically love this. Amazing job dude!
Best cover yet, hands down. Amazing. The layering and chorus, just damn. 15/10. Need this cover on Spotify asap.

Crazy good. You have a much deeper repertoire of styles within the genre than anyone else online. When the voting public finally lets you do Cher…it will be the end of all things. In a good way.

Thank you Dan 💙 I started my list of songs to crank out in 2023 (December is entirely Christmas-themed because I’m one of *those* people lmao) and Believe is on there, I’m gonna do it, polls be damned!
This is one of the best made songs I've heard... woah

thanks Justin! it was largely based off “Got Some Purple Stuff…” by the band Sydney, i used that as a skeleton to build off of. Check’em out, you might like their stuff!

Ah! Just in case it wasn't emo enough, just add lines like "take my love" at the end, well, this Guy works well on his tracks. Extra weird but damn good enough to listen till the end.
