Yes, he’s just about the music , full stop. Sort of the opposite of Tom Cruise who used to have to be on the front of every magazine and get married (for about 2 or 3 yrs) in a big castle in Italy complete with all the Scientology big wig creeps there to try and present this massive image of success and so on. I watched an interview with Brian Johnson once. He said “None of us are on Facebook or Twitter. We don’t spend our time “Twitting””. I liked the way he even got the word wrong - “Twitting” as opposed to “Tweeting”. People who are on Facebook and Twitter every 5 minutes are often trying to present to everyone where they’ve been and what they’ve achieved in the last 5 minutes. AC/DC are just about the music , full stop.

One of the few bands that never sold out. Stuck to their simple sound of drums, bass and 2 guitars. No strings, no keyboards, no female backing vocalists, no saxophones, just an errant bagpipe. No unplugged albums, no greatest hits albums, no symphony albums, no reissues with bonus tracks or demo versions, no duets, collaborations, no outside song writers, no ballads, no concept albums, no studio fakery, just foot to the floor rock n roll. Respect.

I’m a Big AC/DC fan, especially the Bon stuff and I never realized the significance of the chord progression. Cool to hear it from Angus himself. 👍
His riff was BADASS!.LONG LIVE ANGUS YOUNG!
His music says it all.,,, one of the great guitarist of my generation , my kids generation will never have anyone to compare to him
That is simply outstanding
Angus sitting while playing a guitar, didn't think it was possible.
Still self-conscious about singing after all these years 👍

Angus needs to put out an acoustic album. I'd buy it!
To hear him play acoustic and sing for a second..that was a trip.
Love the Angus interviews!
He's soooooooo GREAT!
Angus is such an inspirational person and guitar player. Watching and listening to him not just play but talk about his musical life and his own inspirations really want me to bring out the best in myself. I mean, just the way he uses the (relatively) simple minor pentatonic scale to create such jaw-dropping solos and with such stamina is simply second to none. You really can achieve anything if you put your mind to it, work hard and never give up no matter what life throws at you.
Best dude in rock history.
Love this guy!
How can you not love Angus!
"I'm not gonna sing..." Angus said, well I'm sure millions would buy an album of "Angus Young - Unplugged" if he had the courage to record one. All I can remember as a Year 6 or 7 student in Primary School 1975-76 was that HIGH VOLTAGE fucken Rocked then as much as it continues to Rock for every school kid, teenager and adult whoever heard it no matter what religion bans Rock music or music in general. Aussie ACDC FAN since 1975.

Angus, in his own admission was always too shy to sing. He would let Malcolm and Bon Scott handle that part of the show while he played guitar. Brian Johnson was the perfect replacement for Scott, and Angus continued with his guitar antics.
