    I have a grade 3 ac joint separation from football. The pain was so bad I played through it 2 more weeks and I couldn’t lift my shoulder or run because of it but they needed me. Now 5 months later I have full motion and everything but it will pop and sometimes irratate me. It is a good size bulge popping up like the dude in this video. The surgery for it is several month recovery so I don’t wanna do it but I also hate the bulge popping up and the irritation at times. Gonna try this KT tape. I would’ve been better off breaking my collar bone instead of this injury that made me depressed. Thanks for the video

    Ac joint tear well over a year ago.. it was a grade 3 and my shoulder displacement looks very similar to his. I’ve never tried to hold the shoulder in place for an extended time like this. Is there anyway this could reheal the tendons? Or is surgery with donor tissue my last final option?

  • @Synergywellnessny

    @Synergywellnessny

    2 жыл бұрын

    If the muscle or tendon or ligaments are Torn all the way through then it won’t heal those, but if there are small tears or inflammation or scar tissue bc you had surgery then it will heal that soft tissue. Hope that answers your question.

    Hey, I doubt it makes sense to say something won't heal. It definitely isn't a scientific statement. No offense. I'm just experiencing this right now and am a little stunned about how limited and pessimistic the perspective of most doctors and other health practicioners is. I understand where it comes from and saying "in my/our experience completely torn ligaments don't heal with just taping" is a completely different statement. Because it doesn't exclude the possibility in general. It just seems to me, that there is very little trust in the bodys capacity to heal and no real in depth holistic understanding or interest in why injury and healing actually happens. Why would you limit the possibility beforehand and not try to aim for the best possible outcome independent of what others achieved before. Which doesn't mean in neglect of it but learning from it and trying to apply that to achieve more. And also, if one has not made a serious effort to disprove his beliefs, in this case for example trying to find cases that achieved healing completely torn ligaments without surgery, the statement has to at least include that, no? Like I get that promising something that isn't reasonable from ones perspective is not reasonable but neither is forgetting about the limit of one's perspective.. Really appreciate the video and all the replies, really no hate, just my perspective and curiosity about yours 🙌🙏❤️✌️
