I'd love to see a general guide from you about Arena. Like when to use rolls on Augments vs Prismatic Items, when to save up to Buy Prismatics or get normal items and Stat Shards. That sort of stuff. I'm sure some of that is champion specific but a quick general "rule of thumb" video would be amazing.

As a xerath main, this was sick as hell. Giving him a ton of mobility makes up for his biggest weakness and it's crazy to see this mixed with great mechanics

Thanks for the Ghostcrawlers suggestion. It's always been an item in pretty goofy gamemodes and often didn't feel great, but after hearing you talk about it I've been trying it out and its super cool in arena, doubly so with Apex. I've had fun with it on Lethality Yorick, sending the goon squad out to the enemies and then hiding in the walls is hilarious.

Xerath the Drift King 😂 This type of transformative gameplay that strongly alter a champion’s usual play pattern is so fun to play/watch.

As someone who runs ghostcrawlers almost every game, even without apex, i can guarantee it's very underrated. In most cases it's just another ghost to create distance between people trying to engage on you. It makes koi pond playable. However there are quite a few champs that also break them, sinply because ghostcrawlers only cancel when you actively attack or cast an ability. If you, for instance, cast anivia ult and walk into the wall, it will not kick you out. Taliyah also benefits a lot, start q then activate and you have full free wall movement for the entire q duration. Even just champs that leave things behind like Asol E or Hwei Q^E benefit so much from that escape tool. TLDR anything that doesn't need to autoattack and hates getting dived should probably build them x). It will change your life.

i had a funny strat where i went apex ghostcrawlers teemo and perma invis inside terrain near the centre of the map and then stalled with zhonyas, it was pretty awful and everyone hated me for it so i stopped playing it after a couple games

Bro imagine this but with evelynn and yuumi and all aoe passive damage tank items like sunfire and hollow radiance with zhonyas it would be so crazy Since ghostcrawlers deactivates instantly if you use an ability then yuumi could use her q to do damage instead

lmaoo apex wall boots with skilled sniper xer is such a mechanically and experientially cool way of playing the game. gotta try that if they make an item/aug-settable custom version

IDK why I never thjough of buying the ghost boots with apex inventor, but when I get that in with Zyra, I just rush Ludens, it gets pretty much 0 cooldown and it's broken, it procs like 2-3 times for every plant. I also build things like Seraphs for the shield and Zhonyas

Morgana + Skilled Sniper augment + Force of Entropy prismatic. The augment reduces Q cooldown to 0.5 on hitting far away targets. The item extends the root duration with some crit chance.

God I would give anything to have ghostcrawler xerath in summoners rift. I know it’d be busted but like gah damn my boy feels so weak and has for a while. Mid lane xeraths are pretty much never seen because of how awful his early clear is and he just hard loses most matchups when forced to trade trying to farm. My man could rly use extra move speed/mobility/a peel tool that isn’t useless if the enemy is anywhere near you. Like am I crazy or are legit all the other artillery mages even ziggs like leagues ahead of him in terms of solo lane viability? Also I think a kayne wall ganking a xerath who then proceeds to just walk straight through the wall that kayne just came through would be a hilarious interaction.

He really should have Syndra passive, she can cast spells and combo enemies while still moving, Xerath already moves on charging Q, but on the Q release, and casting W and E makes him imobile, specially when chaining the skills for combo, he should only really stop for the barrage.

stormsurge passive is really bad lol high af threshold and does no damage even if you proc it, and it was tracking the damage, but the ONE time you managed to proc it on Riven she shielded the whole thing xd
