If I had all the money in the world I would make sure this this problem went extinct and I would have millions of puppers to cuddle. That boy is beautiful, I rescued a little girl over a year ago who was similar and now she’s thriving and having a great life. One of six best decisions me and hubby made. I have five others lol

Prisons and animal shelters should be built together. Prisons that would support surrounding cities (could be 50 mile radius for remote prisons). With outdoor courses for dogs. Two captive populations that can comfort each other, and develop skills to be in the outside world. Rescue groups could transport the strays and pick up for adoption days. And give prisoners feelings of being loved and loving. Plus such an environment would cause prisoners to interact with each other in a polite, respectful manner; give each other training tips; have pride and fun showing each other what their dog has learned.

I found my dog in the street on a bitter cold Dec. day, 2003. We were together every second until 4/2/21 when he took his last breath. He, and our 4 cats, was the love of my life. I had a pet care service and he went to work with me all day, he had many best dog buddies. He was terrified of toddler males, all hands, heights and being picked up/held for our first 4 months together. No one else but our vet and groomer could pick him up which was OK with me.

That Border Collie is beautiful. A number of years ago I rescued one off of the street. When I took him to the vet he said it looked like he had been abused. He became part of the family and herded anything he could find, cats, kids, rocks you name it. He was the smartest dog I ever had. Sadly he died. RIP Ralph.😢❤

I had a dog who was like Jack. She passed away in September, well over 16 years old and as a husky is impressive. I could tell she was grateful by how she changed. She stopped carrying mouthfuls of food behind furniture, she would not flinch when we approached her, and she would not cower when she heard her name in conversation. She witnessed so much, she saw me grow up from a first grader to a college student. I am at peace knowing she lived a long life and spent it comfortably. Even into old age, she had horrible anxiety, but she was so much better. I was initially urged to choose a different dog because she was so timid, but I wanted her. She slept by my grandma's side for months after my grandfather passed. She waited with me for the bus, and greeted me at the bus stop when I came home. I would race her up our driveway, and I could take her to the mailbox without a leash or collar. I miss her so much, but I know how much she loved us and she knew we loved her. Every animal deserves to know what love feels like. She showed me what love felt like. She was my entire world. Rescue dogs are some of the best dogs you can have. Any rescue or stray animal.

I had an Australian shepherd that would not let anyone get near her. I brought her home and put her in a fenced in area and every day I would go in there with a book and a treat for her. I sat and let her get used to me and talked to her but did not offer to touch her. Finally she just got to where she would get right up against me and I just put my arm around her and I was able to let her out with out her taking off. She followed me every where but she walked behind me and would touch her nose to the back of my calves as I walked and then I realized she was used to herding cattle!!! Loved her so much.

My best ever dog was a rescue that was close to death when we rescued her from a wilderness area. We don't know if she was dumped or lost. No chip. We had the pleasure of her company for 15 years. The vet said she was around 2 when we rescued her and that she probably wouldn't have lived beyond another week or two. Border Collie Aussie cross (according to the vet). A beautiful blue murle.

@BondiVet I hope Jack finds a beautiful, loving, safe home ,as they all deserve so much love . I lost my 21 yr old cat a year ago. It's really hard but these videos make me hopeful. These are so important because pets need to be adopted from spca . There's so many breeders ,and I wish there wasn't. My Josephine had been thrown out a car window and after 2 phone calls at 2 am for hay and from strangers ,it was definitely meant to be. We would never have found her. She brought me so much happiness, and has slept with me 21 yrs. They each have a really special personality and are so smart and just love cuddles .Several years ago I found a beautiful big dog driving up north to Haliburton and this dog had 300 porcupine quills in her face and body. I pulled them all out and drove immediately to a vet .She was microchipped and it was a breed from Paris France i had never seen before, they had paid $ 5,000.00 for She let me pull them all out . I contacted the new owners who were hunting and she'd run off . You are all angels .These videos are really important. Thank you for everything you all do .❤ Michele 🇨🇦.

Hope Jack finds his forever family very soon, he undoubtedly will make any family proud to be alongside. I have always adopted from shelters myself and all have gone on to be long lived, happy and content with their lives and those who have passed over the rainbow through old age i think about even today.

I would love to have a border collie but my lifestyle is not conducive for this type of dog. I live in the city in a rental house with no backyard. This kind of dog needs a lot of space to run around because they are pretty active. I’ll have to take the dog to a dog park every day and there’s not one nearby. One of these days, when I buy a house with a big fenced yard, I’ll be able to have one and possibly have more dogs. 😊 currently I have a Boston Terrier and he’s a pretty active fella himself! 😂 it’s important for people to understand that before they adopt if their lifestyle is suitable for the dog specific breed they’re looking at. This will avoid a lot of problems in the long run and also keeps people from abandoning their dogs or giving them up to an animal shelter that will potentially euthanize them if no one adopts them.

I actually do not see anything really wrong with him. I have a brown border collie. I see the same softness in his eyes. That is how they act.

The other dogs need to be removed for a better chance of getting him to not do this fear
