Abu Dhar al-Ghifari (RA) once sat down talking to people and said, ‘My friend advised me to do seven things: (1) He asked me to love the poor and to get closer to them. (2) He asked me to look to those who are inferior and not to those who are superior. (3) He asked me never to ask anyone for anything (i.e. to abstain from begging). (4) He asked me to be kind to my relatives. (5) He asked me to say the truth, no matter how sour it may be. (6) He asked me never to be afraid of a critic’s censure. (7) And he asked me to frequently say, ‘There is no power nor might except Allah’s (La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah)."

But Abu dhar giffary was Shiia of Ali. He didn't take bayah of Abu Baqr(ra) along with Ali(ra). He stated a hadith that "The example of Ahle Byte as the Ark of Noah". this is very confusing information for me that, Abu dhar al gifary believed that Ali (ra) is the true successor of Muhammad(sm)

@@chloespencer8632 akhi do a little research yourself, mufti dosent want to admit it but this man became a Muslim before abu bakir(ra). And it was actually muaviya who tricked him and said go to a far away city out of meca, I have appointed you as mayor, when abudar gets there with his wife he discovers that there is no one around to govern no food no water to drink and he dies along with his wife because they don't have any resources to get back to meca. This was a man who said to muaviyas face 'even if you built this Palace with your own money it is HARAM and ISRAF, which is why muaviya wanted to get rid of him.

Why are people fighting for things that are not written in the Quran? Will Allah ask us on the judgment why did Abu bakr (Ra) become khalifa and not Ali (Ra). Ali (Ra) was the cousin of prophet (SA), Abu bakr’s (RA) and Umar’s (RA) daughters were married to prophet Muhammad (SA) making both, Prophet’s (SA) in laws. Uthman (RA) married the daughters of prophet (SA). Those marriages alone make them families. Didn’t Allah call the wives of prophet Muhammad (SA) um al mu’uminun? Do we love prophet Muhammad more than those people? Don’t they deserve our respect for sacrificing so much for Islam? What have we done but insult them and fight amongst ourselves. This indeed should make us reflect on our priorities in this world. God says in the Quran that we will not be held accountable for the actions of those that came before us nor will they be held accountable for what we are doing. So let’s focus on what Allah has given us, let’s follow the sunnah of our prophet Muhammad (SA), let’s stay away from Shirk and Bid’ah. Let’s respect those that came before Us. They were better than us hundred times and fought for Allah and Islam. Respected and loved our prophet more than themselves. Let’s be careful and get our priority straight in this world. What has happened has already happened and Allah will judge each and everyone of us. So let’s not fall into hatred and confusion and hostility.
