Abstract Painting | Acrylic Paint and Isopropyl Alcohol Technique

This is an abstract painting created with acrylic paint and isopropyl alcohol. Acrylic paint that has been thinned out with water was applied to the canvas. Then isopropyl alcohol was spinkled on top of the wet paint to create interesting abstract patterns in the paint.
SUPPLIES:
canvas board
black acrylic paint
colbalt blue acrylic paint
light blue acrylic paint
2 flat paint brushes
isopropyl alcohol

I followed this video today, my first using alcohol. Mine turned out a lot darker, more black. I think I didn't use enough water and it dried too quickly. Now I'm looking for ideas, for the beginner that I am. What would you use this background for? I love all your videos!! Thank you.

Its crazy but i can only find the 70% alcohol here. I guess it doesnt make that much difference
