When you were drying them with your pinkish hair dryer I wondered how that colour would look on the paintings! Working in a series is everything 🤩. More energy, more fun... More results! Look forward to seeing yours on these, Jackie😊

You can wet the back of any loose canvas and it will be taut in 5 min.

Is it less successful if the front has been painted on already? I’ve had a harder time tightening the canvas after I’ve painted the front. Lesson learned, but wondering if that’s the case across the board or just specific to what I used.

Does the water have to be dried off rapidly with the drier or can they be left overnight please? Also do you spray the water just in the corners or all over. Thank you so much ❤

No need to dry it with a dryer - letting it air dry is fine. I spray the water all over, including the corners :)

These look amazing, very cohesive. It looks like you are using a homemade stay-wet palette. Is that just moistened blue towel under a stay wet palette sheet?

It’s nice to have a uniformly tight, flat work surface. I suppose it’s personal preference, but most people prefer it to be taut.
