What a fun, inspirational painting! I find myself thinking about your painting videos every day when I am driving around and working. I know it's what I would prefer to be doing. I find the sound of your voice speaking German very calming and like hearing German. I played your videos for my special needs nephew with autism when he was on vacation with me and he loves to watch you. So it makes no difference to us if you speak English. We love what you are doing.

thank you very much for your comment. yes, with abstract painting either rules of image composition help or you have to let go. it's great when you can respond to what you feel. that's the best thing...sometimes i need some time to do that. sometimes it doesn't work out at all, sometimes it's really fast. the head is in the way. thoughtful, yes. your feeling is right. ;)

Restless I understand may I confess I've been off work nearly two years with mental health issues but I totally understand "need to paint" and people like yourself are so refreshing and real. Ich liebe dieses Bild. Zwischendurch dachte ich: "Genau so. Jetzt ist es fertig." Aber du hast weiter gemacht Zunächst dachte ich, "warum? Es ist perfekt."; und dann hat sich die Stimmung des Bildes geändert und es wurde immer stimmungsvoller und harmonischer. Es bringt so viel Spaß dir zuzuschauen!

your videos has become my quarantine morning routine with my coffee before I start making my art. Your work as i said before allowed me to not be afraid to try new things. It's amazing to me how not just beautiful your pieces are but very inspiring. if you don't mind I have one question. do you wait for the paint to dry between layers or you just work through it? Thank you again.

Loved it at 7:38 ... it was interesting to find so many mixed interesting elements ... when the gray was added it lost all the areas I found interesting and then to me just looks like big paint patches - sorry art is objective and that is my obective feelings .

beautiful painting. Do you wait for it to dry after each layer of different colours? Or is this in one go? Also, what brand/type of acrylic paint do you use?

Du kannst hochwertige Acrylfarbe mit Wasser verdünnen. Morgen kommt noch ein Video, da verwende ich ganz flüssige Farbe. Es kann sein, wenn du deine Farbe mit Wasser verdünnst, sie dann matt auftrocknet und schlechter haftet. Bei hochwertiger Farbe kannst du deshalb besser verdünnen, da dies nicht so schnell passiert. Aber ich gehe immer gerne das Risiko ein, es bringt dir neue zufällige Effekte, die dich vielleicht zu weiteren inspirieren ;) Mein Motto: mach einfach ;) GLG PEtra
