Hi Cathy. Such a beautiful light ethereal quality to this painting, yet the picture still has depth. The small white mark near the top centre reminds me of a white dove flying out from the blue grey cloud which fits perfectly with the rest of the image. Thank you. Colin. :)

Thanks Linda. Glad to hear you enjoyed it. If the lines you create with a fineliner get too think, I could be that the medium is too thin. If you use diluted paint, then try adding more paint to it. Stay well and safe. 🙏🎨💙

It's called a fine line applicator. You should find it with a quick google search.

Hi Cathy: i would like to know if when you use the gesso at the end of the painting as it comes, or add some water? Also which size of brush is the best to work this step. I love that powdered finish! I continue watching your beautiful work daily and also practicing to cure my addiction! Thanks for your beautiful gifts!

I don't use water with my gesso, but it is quite thin. I'm sorry but dont think I know what size brush I was using. Glad you enjoy though. 💗

Gesso is a primer, but I love to use it in my art. It has alot of chalk in it and I love the texture. ❤
