Sorry for the late response, I relocated to the SC Lowcountry in 1996 and visiting since the early 80s. I've actually been more of a critic in general of the overall quality of the local establishments. I think Covid was a wake-up call for many local restaurants. My family and I participated it the choices.

Another good one. I like their sushi.

I think "My Favorite" would have been a better choice of words than "absolutely the best," because everyone has different tastes.

​@@CarlKratzRealtorSC For the record, my 10 favorites as a visitor to HHI since 1997: The Crazy Crab Jarvis Creek Hilton Head Ice Cream Company Black Marlin Bayside Grill Skull Creek Boathouse The Jazz Corner Marley’s Shrimp and Burger Shack Up The Creek Pub and Grill The Sea Shack Skillets Cafe and Grill Bullie’s BBQ And we have also enjoyed these alternatives from time to time: The Crazy Crab Harbour Town Salty Dog Cafe San Miguel’s Mexican Restaurant Fat Baby’s Pizza Harbour Town Bakery and Cafe The French Bakery in Shelter Cove Hilton Head Diner Poseidon Old Oyster Factory Local Pie We've never made it to Hudson's, in spite of several attempts over the years, because the waiting time has always been in HOURS instead of MINUTES whenever we were there. But we will be back in May 2024 to try again! [grin]

Look, if you introduce your video saying how long you've lived in the area, and tell us this is your top choices, please don't read us what is written in the local eateries magazine. What's the point? I was really excited to learn something new, but you trotted out the same old, same old... Hudson's is popular, but I honestly can't understand why! It's not cheap, the food is mediocre at best. I also noticed that your choices were all $$ to $$$ and then you say they won't break the bank! How about some $ places that families can visit with two or three children?
